I want to get the rear spoiler now, but my local dealer wants $279 for the spoiler alone, not even including install charges yet..

man you got a great deal on the spoiler! How did you manage to get it installed for $289, when the part alone is around $270-$280.I am getting price quotes of around $450-500 for the spoiler+install

Sorry boooey... I must have mis-spoke. The install was an extra $124.00.

ahh, ok.. thanks for clarifying that mlmcgahee.. still a good install price from a dealer though.

A local dealer i called said they never installed a spoiler on a Rogue before, and I would have to bring it in for them to checkout first.

kind of makes me nervous having them do it even..

well, i took the plunge and just ordered the spoiler from a local dealer here for $271.

Every time i look at my Rogue, it just looks like its missing something on the back window, with no spoiler there.

To clarify, it just goes over the brake like that is already there, correct? there is no wiring to do right?

That is correct boooey. It goes over the existing brake light. Here is a close up.

thanks!getting it installed tomorrow at the dealer. not sure yet how much they are going to charge, but it shouldn't be a standard spoiler install price because all they have to do is drill some holes..no wiring

i'll post pics when done

I think they go by a set number of hours for the install. They have a price list that tells them how long a certain task will take them and they charge a flat rate per hour. I might be wrong on that....

Looking forward to seeing pic's....

got it installed. I think it looks awesome

but the installer at the dealer was a little sloppy , I got some very slight scratches (fixed with touch up paint), and a tiny piece of protective plastic stuck under the spoiler he forgot to remove..

it feels solid on there, but there is some give to it if i push on it with a little force. Is yours the same mlmcgahee?

overall i love it

NICE!

I love the chrome grill, and dying to get it, but I cant justify the $150 price tag for 2 pieces of chrome plastic right now..

If I could get it for around $99, i would pull the trigger. but it looks AWESOME!

Ok you guys are killing me! I love the spoiler! It looks great and I am really jealous and want one now. My husband says he is going to take away my access to this site since the more time I spend on it the more money it's going to cost him. :D I got my SL this week and already would like to "customize it a bit". I love it's look but the spoiler and side moldings would really give it a little extra "something-something"!!

I am still on the fence about the moldings.. I am not sure if i want them or not really.. but the spoiler, and the chrome grill inserts look amazing, and really make the car POP!

Does anyone know what the Nissan PN is for the chrome inserts? (is it even a Nissan part?)

I've also been thinking of getting a chrome grill for my Rogue - they look very nice. Question: what are they made of? I remember reading somewhere that it's palstic; if so, how durable are they? No need to worry now, but with the snow and salt wont they scratch?

I'm surprised how much I like the Chrome Grill.

My Dad got his Rogue (SL, Premium Package) last weekend, he got the Rear Spoiler on his Ultramarine Blue.

We've had the chrome grills on since February. As you are aware, this has been a brutal late winter and early spring? here in the mid-west. No problem with adhesion or deterioration yet.

its a pretty hard plastic. and every new car out there now with any chrome on the front grill area is plastic, so this is no different really.

I also got mine from Ebay for $129

Hey guys.. I just got my Rogue (SL model) a few months ago and am now ready to do some 'customizing.' I'm looking on tinting the windows. The back already has the factory tint, however i'm trying to decide on replacing it with a darker percentage or if I should just match up the front - what do you think? (It is Indigo Blue in color - just like the one shown in the accessory catalog). Also, what about the front strip? I noticed along the top there is already a solar type tint in the main middle of the window. Should I just leave it be and not worry about a front strip?.. I need opinions!

That's not too bad really. The lowest price I could find for all windows (minus the front strip) was $165.00! I'm just trying to decide what percentage too do? Any opinions?

Hey, if anyone has a copy of the installation instructions for the rear spoiler, I'd appreciate getting a copy or pointing me to a link. Thanks.
