I'm looking at putting on some 20" aftermarket wheels but I don't want to lower it as its my dd and i drive about 3500 miles a month.
anyone have pics of an 37 or 56 rwd? Mine is an m35h so i assume it would be similar in height as opposed to the x. I've searched quite a bit but haven't had much luck. I just don't want too much of a gap....maybe some other tire options?

First and foremost Welcome. Are you planning on running stock (20) sport rims? or any type size 20 rims. It would help us more if you can give more details. This is the place to be.

Welcome!

Unfortunately I don't quite understand what pictures you are after. Do you mean a RWD M with 20's and not lowered?

If you don't plan on lowering the car I would run a set of OEM Infiniti 20's. If you really want aftermarket wheels go with something with a full face. I would definitely stay away from anything with a deep dish and/or lip. This wheel design seems to accentuate the excessive OEM wheel gap.

Also the only way to not have too much of a gap is to lower the car. Even with 20's your overall tires diameter will be the same as with the 18's, so the gap will not increase or decrease. You could run a larger tire but it will affect your speedometer readings and may rub on the body. Basically you don't want to do it.

Based on the little I know OEM 20's are my suggestion.

Yeah I'd go with OEM 20's myself. Nice wheels.

Yes, a rwd m with 20's not lowered. I do like the oem 20's but can't justify spending that kind of money on stock wheels. I do like the deep dish but am worried about them exaggerating the gap like u said. 22's are the other option but not a good choice for our bad roads and a daily driver. I had 22's on my 06 M35x and the wheel gap was not that bad considering it was stock height. Thanks for all the quick replies btw....

That does help some. I'm looking for 20's, no drop, rwd though. Great write up and end result. Hows the ride compared to stock?

Welcome

Here is a site where you can choose wheels / tires and see them on your car in your color:
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results. ... toModClar=

Here is a site where you enter the OEM wheel and tires on the LEFT, enter your new choices on the RIGHT - it tells you what differences result from your new set up (height off the ground, space remaining in the wheel well, closeness to brakes and suspension, etc):

Keep an eye out on Craigslist for some take off 20's. You can usually pick them up for pretty cheap.

Im in Alberta Canada and Craigslist is not really big out here. We have kijiji but i have not seen a set of take off 20's yet...It's been a year. I don't have fb either. I was wondering how 245/45/20 might look. I know the speedometer will be off but just a thought...
