Pet Squirrel!!!!!!!!! Omfg

this morning while working on my car, something fell on my back. then, it scrached and headed right up my shoulder.

what the f!?!?!?!

i caught a glimpse of this creature, and realized it was a squirrel.

i tried to get him off, but he just hung on and chilled out and relaxed, nudged his head ujp against my neck, and started 'chirping' to me. so whatever.

i tried to knock him off, and he jumped back on me. so whatever.

pet squirrel SPL.

i go inside and he decides hes going to stay on my shoulder, parrot style.

so f-it. i'll take pictures of my new pet squirrel.

he hangs around in my room, relaxes, lays down, runs around, chills at the windowsill, all in about 1.8 seconds. he's fast as hell.

if i could make my S chassis respond this quickly i would have the coolest car on earth.

if anybody knows anything about squirrels, or where i should take him (not animal control, they will destroy him because he's a wild animal turned pet [ obviously raised by humans, he has very non sharp claws] ) hit me up on aim - thesocialmoth

I concur on the rabies, take him to a vet to get checked out and then if he's cool with hanging out...enjoy your new pet.

i have no idea.yes, if one of my friends or me decides to keep him, then yes, we're going to get him checked out.

he'll probably live in a cage or, i'll try to train him , but i dont' know, i think he's gonna need to be in a cage or just be watched at least. its' really hard to do this. i dont know what the f i'm supposed to be doing!

haha...that's awesome... he is really cute... just get him checked out and keep him. hw should be no trouble at all. I mean I have a dog and that's a lot more trouble cuz he barks and stuff and he s*** a lot and his farts smell like hell and on a good day he will fart like once every 2 hours or so. so you cna imagine on a bad day. but he is adorable(sp) and I love him dearly... so from one pet owner to another... you will Love this little guy/girl... trust me.. you bond with them.. neways, enuogh of this feelings crap. back to cars.. =)

I had one for a pet last spring, they are great, but what I would reccomend is a dog crate, keep him outside in the crate with the door shut for a few days and then open the door and let him out, He will hang around you and you will have a freind through out the summer,then he will just dissapear. If you want him to come when called, use a clicker or somthing with a distinct sound every time you feed him. that way you can get him to come to you once he is released. Also I would reccomend feeding him puppy food, nut nuts or corn, as a growing baby he needs nutrients and they arent found in corn or nuts. they can be great pets, but remember he is a wild animal and his wild urges will come back when he matures(need to reproduce and all that, squirrels gotta get some too) so be sure to acclimate him with the outdoors. have fun!!!!! if you have any questions on raising him email me at [email protected]!!!

if that were me, and i were working on my car, and some crazy squirrel jumped on me, hed have been shot many times and run over repeatedly. (i have no more squirrels in my neighborhood because they chewed through my gutters, came into my house, and attempted to live in my car, they are now swimming with the fishes at the bottom of the pond i live on)

hey i found one when i was 9 yrs old when i lived in boston,his name was ricky .when he was found his brothers were killd by a cat =[ then chased the mom in the street and she was killd too =[ ricky was a new born his eyes were still close ,i and mom raised him for a yr he grew and became a big HORNY male .i lived in apartments and my window was ground level he would run my room freely every sunday was boston cream pie day! he would jump in all 4's and eat from his hands ,once he finished paw prints up and down my curtens sheets walls ,u name it lol best pet i ever had ,till one day the lil hporny freak hopp in to my window and seen other squirls ,must have been females (they can scew a guy mind up)so while my mom was vaccuming out in the living room i was being attacked by this big furry hormone he locked his jaws to my palm of my hand and there jaws just like pit bulls they dont unlock.back to the storyy im in my room ,mom in the living room vaccuming making louds noises,ok squirl biting ,me well what u expect of course! i was screeming LOUD but not load enough lol i open my door jumping and waving my arm screeming ,so far a minute has past finally she shuts off the vacc and i let out and other high pich 9 yr old screem ,peircing ear drums shes runs to me ,she see whats happend(doh) and tells me to stop swinging my arm meen while i have this chirping hormone as one too my hand i whip my arm really hard and flung him across my room ofcourse ripping my hand wide open (BAD) of course now phyco squirl with blood on his face was fine after been stich up 15 stiches that is we decided to take him too a new home (the blue hills )in mass just north of boston ranger perserve nature there =] we bruoght him ther open the cage and he ran 50 yrds in the open feild facing the woods. he stop turns around on his hind legs looking at us he wanted to come back so i screemed and yelled telling him to go (no walt disney here this is true) that was the last time i seen him maybe if he was fixed it would have been fine (but what male wants that done ) but to this day ill always remember him loving banana chips out of my hand and finding them in my pillow so if u live in country or have a big yard keep him has a friend but let him run out side ,he still wants his other friends and like they say (IF IT YOURS RELEASE IT AND IT WILL RETURN ) hope this help? and no thnk u for reminding me about ricky

ps he will bite thruogh any thing and a cage out of wire will hurt him it cut rickys tail in half (kool looking but meen) get him used to getting food in your window cil or some were u like and just let him out while ur there soon he get used to that and live out side get him uused too a noise to indentafie u like a whistle or something have fun (its life)
