Hi

I brought a 08 Murano because that's this generation of Murano is most beautiful Crossover/SUV so far. I didn't look at anything else. Before that I had a 05 Xterra. I love both cars and I was a Nissan fan. They used to build beautiful cars.

But there are a few things I wish it can be better. First, the performance, it's a bit shaky on highway. I just replaced my whole suspension of my stock 06 Mustang GT and now it corners like a BMW. So I am wondering where can I get a better suspension for my 08 Murano, mainly a set of progressive springs will make a large difference, I believe, so I can make it performs like X5.

Another thing is the steering wheel is a bit too heavy for a crossover. Is there a way to make it lighter?

Where can I find some cool stuffs for Murano? Such as LED lights, a better grill.

Thanks
Jirong

I thought Nissan skipped the model year 2008 due to a total revamp of the model lineup. Perhaps you live in another country where that model year was produced. There's a post on here for an Aussie company that makes stiffer springs and suspension components for the Murano found here: suspension-fix-for-2007-murano-t479225.html, and I noticed aftermarket springs and shocks on the Tirerack.com site the other day. I'm not sure about the other after market parts you mentioned, but I would imagine you could Google those components and come up with something you would be interested in.

My Murano Handles Quite well, I think it's better than a X5, and I find the steering as light as my 2004 Toyota Matrix's, even lighter maybe (unless the power steering is off). and what do you mean a bit shaky,\? I've once let go of the wheel going 75MPH (By accident) and It Kept in line.
