I just watched a documentary on the USA political debates last night. What a coincidence .J-Spec Tuner wrote: On the soap box and in the public is where politicians should be fighting for what they believe. I wand un-scrippeted debates with candidates who are really involved with that they are talking about, not a bunch of pre-planned lies to make them look good.
The candidates actually get to pick the questions that they want to be asked. WTF. Also, there is a whole commission dedicated to making rules for political debates. The candidates are not allow to respond to the other candidates answers. They can not ask each other questions. Basically, they can not talk to each other.
I say, screw the whole presidential "debate" thing. Lets have some full blown presidential arguements. People should be able to ask the candidates any questions that they'd like to. If the candidate does not know how to respond to the question, they should say, "I'm sorry, I don't have a card with an answer to that question" .
You couldn't win with that slogon. That's the problem. The general population does not want to hear the "truth". If a candidate(*cough*bush*cough*) told you that he was going to spend the USA into the ground(read up on the national debt), would you vote for him? Probably not. So, what does he tell you. He says that he is going to (magically) turn the economy around. Do you want to be told that big corporations are going to be allowed to outsource jobs? Or do you want to be told that the candidate is going to magically stop corporations from outsourcing? Basically, a presidential election is a popularity contest.WDRacing wrote:Yeah, but I love fast cars, I hate the CARB, I would love to tax the crap out of people who make an asston of money and I'd close down our borders and work from the inside out to make this country a once agin nice place to live. ..I'm WDRacing and I endorse this message...lol.
Kind of, ~50~75tons of ashes, the rest would be turned into gases.pills wrote:Can you explain how you turn something into nothing? What happens when you burn 100 tons of wood? 100 tons of ashes, right?
