I'm sorry if I missed this topic in my search but, have any of you coupe owners installed aftermarket pedals? If so what kind and do you have pics? Interested in potentially installing some but I have seen some that look completely cheap and other that make the car look better. Was looking at the Razo competition sport line but their "fit guide" doesn't list the coupe.....

I've put in aftermarket pedals...they just go on top of the regular ones, I can't remember what brand they were, but they weren't too expensive, $40, I just picked them up from a store in market village (a chinese mall in Toronto).

I'll try to take pics tomorrow and put em up.

On top of the regular ones?! As in, you don't swap the stock pedals with the new?

The ones that johnny_d posted are pretty nice (I have black interior too) but I'd really like to see some that are styled just like the G35/Z nismo pedals. I just want plain drilled aluminum with black trim. Most pedals are way too blingish for me.

Does anyone know if Altima sedan pedals are identical to the Altima coupes?

i have one simmilar to this in my car now.. the brake works fine.. its a little big bigger than the original... it may be an issue.. but the real problem is the gas pedal... Its on a high angle.... the piece bends like a rainbow, and these gas pedals arent bent nearly as much.... so it doesnt really fit flush.... no one knows what im talking about??

the look of them isnt the issue.. touch your gas pedal.. feel the incline? Now look at the aftermarket pedals.. they are almost flat.

I see what you mean now. I thought yours got bent from stepping on it too much hehe. Another thing is I was wondering if these gas pedals are longer than the stock ones, would they hit the floor way too early compare to the stock ones? Also how do you tell if these are the ones you'd replace or attach to the stock pedals? thanks

Take a look at your gas pedal...

The brake has a rubber grommet type of thing you can take off, but the gas is just one solid piece of plastic.. all the way under the dash... so i dont know how someone would replace the entire pedal...

In addition, the top of the gas pedal doesnt meet the arm of the pedal flush, meaning you can use a bigger gas pedal and have it just go UP higher, not DOWN lower(hit the floor)...

We still have the issue of the high curve on the gas...

The link to the pedals I posted bolt directly on to the metal pedal, they're not those sh*tty clip on crap.

What's wrong with the clip on pedals?

haha that was actually my pic.

Well, first of all, I prefer the style of my pedals over yours. However, I do agree it looks slightly better when it's one piece, and you can't see the real pedal behind the clip on...but the marginal difference (to me) isn't worth the effort of completely replacing the pedal.

Is there any performance difference between the 2??

If you look at the website link there are different styles besides the ones I have. Also if removing the rubber pads and drilling a few holes is too much effort then tuning/modifying cars isn't for you.

I wouldn't say that there is a performance gain but the one's I have are grippy because they are milled out so that the holes are actually raised giving more foot traction plus the fact that they are custom made for each car.

No offense but the ones you have don't look right because they are universal and you can see the rubber sticking out from the edges.

i have to agree with ddgsxr504, obviously theres is not a performance gain with pedals. however there is a functionality purpose and looks purpose. if your going for looks, you might as well do it right and make it look like the pedals are supposed to be there.
