Hey guys so lately ive been dealing with a issue of my clutch pedal not returning fully to the top. It feels like it disengages but doesnt spring back to the top and i have to kick it with my toe and makes it a pain to get into gear sometimes. I looked and the clutch fluid and it looks clean and it seems to only act up after driving her hard or sitting in traffic... and suggestions... ive heard to lube the shaft that runs from the pedal but could it really be that easy and why only when it gets hot... btw JWT clutch and flywheel installed about 3000 miles ago but it acted up prior to then as well... any suggestions would help.

Know the location of each? Best bleed spots? Easy to change out? Im sure I could search but I'm writing from my phone so makes it near impossible to read anything. From the pics of the slave it looks external so I'm assuming on the bell housing itself but just wanna get clarification before I dive into this

yeah, its not on the inside. I'd suggest looking at the FSM to see where its at exactly and how to bleed it. I dont know if its any different than the g37, but I have not worked on a G35 clutch, so I dont know.

This is a common problem...I had it on my 05 coupe. The slave cylinder is one of the issues...old clutch fluid is the other.

Thx Joe, did you change it yourself or dealer? If yourself difficult or pretty direct? Dealer got a est price?

It is because the pedal is too close to the floor, that the returning spring pedal contact point is off. It's really a simple fix, just a couple of turns of the pedal push rod to raise the pedal should cure it. Had the exact problem after adjusted the pedal, lowered it too much first then raised it back a bit, problem gone.

Here is how, I think clock wise turn lowers it. Pics are from (link to outside forum removed)
