I know you do your own thing and from what I have seen you have a great sense of style in your mods. Just a suggestion on the headliner would be to do it in the black material but make either the center in just the bride logo material or do two stripes that line up with the center sections of each seat with the bride logo material.

Actually, the Bide logo material only has two rows of the "BRIDE" logo on it. It is plain down the sides. So it will be good to go the way it is. Seems like there are several people not trusting my judgment these days I'm not use to that feeling

I think they're all thinking that its just the Bride logo all over the fabric. Do it and surprise everyone!

That's what I'm thinking! Most of the material is plain black..... you wouldn't even know that it was Bride unless I told you. It just matches the plain material on the seats.

Interesting choice with the Maziora-painted seats, but I know you'll pull it off flawlessly, as usual.

Wasn't trying to step on your toes just throwing out a suggestion. It should look great. I am not familiar with the Bride material so I didn't know how it was laid out. Looking forward to seeing it done.

Oh I know, no offense taken. I hope it turns out the way I have it pictured in my head...... things usually do!

I've followed most of your stuff and I'm very impressed.

Now I'm sure you have done the floor carpeting on your S13. I have an S14 and always hated the grayish carpeting on the floor of it. Do you have a place that makes good quality molded carpeting in black for S14s that you could refer me to?

Here is a pic of the material I will be using. As you can see, they are not flashy by any means. The Bride logo material is very subtle. And of course the other is just the plain black that is used on the main part of their seats.

This pic was taken with a flash to show the Bride logo.

Broadfield - no need for you to appease the idiots with the limited imaginations by showing them pics of what you're doing. Just come out with the final product and guaranteed they will put their foots in their mouths.

Who has a limited imagination? I have seen this done on many cars in many flavors (one of my college buddies had a 500fwhp RSX with Sparco interior conversion). We are just saying that while it will be done to the highest level of skill and quality, it is not for every one.

Now please let the grown ups continue to pat Toby on the back and stop trying to stir the pot.

Broadfield wrote:Well, my front and rear seats are going bye-bye tomorrow. So naturally I need something to replace them. Then of course, as usual with me, one mod leads to 10 others. So I will start this post with my new seats. Bride Gias Maziora Edition. I will then update this thread as I change the rest of the interior.

The first thing is to bolt the Gias in and see how they feel. I have the drivers in already, but am still waiting on a passenger side rail. I must say, it's probably one of the most rewarding mods I have done. This is the first time I have REALLY been able to "feel" the car.

Next up will be to reupholster the rear seat. I need to brush up on my sewing skills, so hopefully it turns out the I want it the 1st time.... perfect I have 3 sections of Bride material at my shop just begging to go in. I will do the back seat to match the fronts. I will be using the standard black Bride material for the main part of the seat, then black Bride logo material for the center sections.

The next phase will be the headliner. I am going to wrap that in the black Bride logo material. This should be a pretty easy process.

After that I need to do the door panels in the logo material, then the armrest and glove box. However, I haven't decided if I want to do the glove box and armrest in the logo material or the plain material.... we'll just have to play with it and see.

Here as some uninstalled pics..... front side pics didn't come out good so I'm not posting them. However, you can be sure there will be a full interior photo shoot in the near future! Stay tuned for many more progress pics.

Might have the pics done tonight. It's hard to edit Zeller's stupidity out of the background. It is that profound.
