My first car was a 96 honda civic hatchback...in PURPLE! thats right purple! haha. that car lasted for 2 months and got rear ended by a drunk driver but second car was a 97 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T (all happen back in 2004)

Now I drive my 08 Altima 2.5s and very happy about it.

but since u dont have a loan to pay back- im assuming were gna see cf hood/trunk/wing new tails, headlights, bodykit, intake, exhaust etc at least in the next month.

lol i'm not working. my parents pay my insurance, gas money, and some spending money but they dont like to give me money for mods.... except the HIDs my dad bought me lol i worked for like a month or 2 and got tinted windows, stillen fascia, exhaust, exhaust cut-out, then quit. i'm going to do some more stuff to the car for sure but i dont think i'm going to go too crazy... might try and upgrade to a BMW or something in like 3-4 years so no point in going all out on the A/C. i will do some stuff for sure tho, to keep me happy for that 3-4 years.

Congrats on the new car. You've already heard this from nearly everyone else in the thread, but be very, very thankful of what you got as your first car. I would have dropped a brick in my drawers if my folks had bought me a car with half the mojo your new car has. Besides, you're young; you don't need a 3.5. The only difference between it and the 2.5 is that it's easier to rack up speeding tickets faster and it drinks gas faster than its cousin the 2.5. So, you're probably a tiny bit less likely to wrap it around a telephone pole, LOL

And my first car, you ask, perhaps? It was a hand-me-down, a 1974 Dodge Coronet Custom, olive green with ivory vinyl top and AT, from my parents in 1986, and I was damned glad to have it, too. It was a land-yacht and guzzled gas like no tomorrow! Other cars I had afterward were a 1978 Toyota Corolla (w/ black vinyl interior and AT), and a 1981 Pontiac Bonneville (the last year they were _big_), AT of course.

But the first car I bought for myself was a new 1992 Honda Civic 3-door (hatchback), MT (yeah!). Got 40 mpg city/48 mpg hwy This 09 Altima 2.5 S 6MT is the first *new* car I've bought since then. Had a couple of used ones in between, though. Thus far, this car is my all-time favourite!

OMG! 92-95 Honda Civic hatchback? those are amazing! did you have the VX, CX or DX? my brother's first car was a 93 CX that my parents bought him. thats what i initially expected to be my first car and i really like those. the VX gets better MPG then the NEW 2009 HYBRID CIVIC! the CX gets almost the same as the 09 HYBRID CIVIC. plus it looks nice and if you wanted to make it fast, just put a K20 in it.... K20 in that would be just as fast as the 3.5se A/C..... down side, it would get stolen or at least broken into 1,000 times before you could even try to do an engine swap.
