2nd, green in a white car, maybe some gold and silver accents in the engine bay. Silver or black silicone hoses... that bay will be sexZ

*UPDATE*

Here is the CF kit that I got from REV imports a while back. Took a bit of modification to fit all the pieces, but it worked out rather nicely I think! The arm rest was a pain in the a$$ to figure out... and I ended up putting the medallion on the center piece behind the seats, to make it look a bit more fluid.

And here is the engine bay so far. Yes, I know I'm not as fast as Chase300 lol... owning and maintaining my first house is quite time consuming!

Looking good man, keep up the good work, that engine bay is effing time consuming but it will pay off in the end. So far every Z ive come across has had battery acid spill all over in that corner.. such a mess to clean up.. Dont forget to prime it as soon as your done grinding all the rust out or it will come back!

Indeed, I forgot to mention I REALLY like where you put the medal as well...your car is VERY unique and I can't wait to see how it all ends up!

*UPDATE*

Sorry it has been like a year and a half since I last updated this! Life has been very busy. I got a job at a collision repair center and now have access to a full shop. So, I'm in the process of getting the Z down there and up on the frame rack because I noticed a small buckle in the RT front frame rail. No big deal... it can be pulled pretty easily. Then a full repaint to factory 326 Super White. I have also spent the last little while slowly gathering most of the last pieces I need to complete this project. You can find them added to the mod list on the first page of this thread. And here are the pics:

Ohhhh, a 6 puck? Hope you've got strong ankles, that'll wear you out :)
Looks great dude, you're definitely taking enough time to make sure everything is done right! Wish you the best with your build and install. BTW, love that carbon trim-did you get it from the Z Shop?

That's the SZ High 5 clutch, and from what I've read, it's very smooth, almost street disc like.

Thank you! It's actually the 5 puck like Tony stated. Strong legs are a must haha. Yes, I did get the trim from Matt at The Z Shop. Good man to do business with!

*UPDATE*

I recently convinced my boss to let me bring the Z into my shop so we could paint it!! I was able to flat bed it down there last weekend and start the tear down process. Already had it mostly torn down, but a few more things had to come off:

Glass and everything taken out:

Now the fun part... Prep and masking!

And the final result. 2 stage (base & clear) Sherwin Williams factory 326 Super White

For those of you that can't tell... I decided to clear coat the entire project. Underside of hood & hatch. Cleared the whole engine bay as well. We finished up the chassis today and had every other panel painted last weekend. I even tried my hand at spraying... I cleared my driver's door handle all by myself! lol.

Prepping & masking was a huge PITA! Total time spent was 22.5 hours with 2 people including tear down, prep & spray. Total cost = $1500 to my painter, $580 in materials, $100 to pull glass and the revelation of finding more parts to replace. Not terrible, considering a full retail paint job like this at my shop would be well over $6,000!! Monday, I will have the glass installed and finish up a few minor things. Then, towed back to the house and the reassembly can commence :naughty:

More updates to follow in the coming days...

*UPDATE*

Been busy but still managed to get some progress on the Z  Engine bay is almost ready for her heart. I refinished all the windshield and T-Top trim with a textured truck bed coating. Turned out pretty well! More to follow. Enjoy!
