We have a customer here who got one S14 from them, bad compression, totally gunked up, no oil change POS. Now they send him another clip, detonation damage on 3 pistons and 2 cyl walls. I call "Mike", he says too bad, it is 6 days past the 30 day warranty, if customer wants to spend $1700 he will send a long block with a turbo. How's that for a F*ck You! This customer is into us for a lot of labor only because of Osaka and their crap motors, and now he has been told to screw off by Osaka "Mike", who is supposedly a manager (either that or he lied to me).

I really don't respect anyone who will not admit their name until you tell them who you are! Man that is the biggest con ripoff game there is! "Mike" apparently won't talk to you if you are not on his "happy customer' list.

I told him I would be immediately posting about their terrible business ethics, so here it is. He said "We don't care who you are or what anyone posts on the internet about us". That is a direct quote. Check out our site later for pictures of the crap Osaka sells.

I'm warning everyone - don't deal with Osaka. I was patient and nice with them but they were complete jerk-offs to me and the customer on the phone.

So much for customer service.

They have been around quite along time but I don't think they have ever been a favourite of anyone. I think I even remember reading horror stories about them from like 2-3 years ago.

my mechanic has used OSUCKA in the past, he was also on the "good costumer list". he picked up my motor for cheap. the turbo was blown, motor mount cut(not the same thing off the KA), fuel rail bad, oil pan in the worst shape i have ever seen one from what people post, bad ignitor chip...., and i cant even remember the rest. thankfully i picked an awesome mechanic and he replaced everything becasue osaka is worthless and told him to tuff ****. he also got two other bad honda engines from them. so the word is spreading very fast. i live east of KC MO, so you know everyone has heard bad things if we have. haha

What was your reason from buying from them over one of the many reputable shops out there. Osaka prices were cheap?

fast shipping, and yea a little less in price, but the motor was at my shop in like 5 days.

is every motor toast that comes from there? or is there a chance that mine is good?

There's always a chance that an engine is good, but obviously it's unlikely. Like speeding and asking if there's a chance you'll get pulled over. ...from what people tell me, yeah, you might, you might not, but how much are you willing to risk(invest) in an unknown?

I'll bet there's a local shop in every major city that's on the up & up that carries these engines and we just haven't researched enough.

My friend has also ordered from them. He didnt have any problems but I would STILL order from Heant Throttle.

i use to have a honda and i've read alot about osaka. Honda-tech.com has tons of poeple saying not to buy from them. From what i've heard, i would stay away. Its a chance with them that you'll get a good motor.

It's a gamble if you do buy from them.

Ther poor response to problems alone disqualifies them in my book.

When buying from Nico sponors like, Heavy throttle, phase2, MVP, Truboost, 240sxmotoring you will not have these problems.

And if they ever have a problem motor they stand behind it .

Fred..

PS: Tubakins hope you are ok, did you charge to credit card? then you will be protected.

PS: We may move this into the Nissan Parts FS forum for a bit to get the info out in the Nissan community as well.

I am usually not one to jump on a vendor that quick, w/o hearing their side, but this wasnt the only flagrant case...

i bought my redtop off them, and they pissed me off very bad. i got the engine for 1100 and 300 shipping, but it took them 6.5 weeks to get it to me in CO. i called them and told them what happened and they said they would waive the shipping, which sounded ok to me, but then it got charged to my account anyhow. so i was pissed and called them back about it and they told me i was a liar and that they would never wiave the shipping cost. also, when my motor came the harness was cut to bits, the spark plugs were rusted and the starter was toasted. it also was intakeless, had no intercooler, no ignitor chip, no BOV, and the PS belt disintigrated in my hand when i touched it. oh yeah, there also was no MAF. missing the IC andBOV and intake didnt really anger me cause i looked at it as an excuse to upgrade, but the other, harder to find JDM only pieces were a pain in my anus.

the reason i bought my motor from them was i have at least 4 friends with motors from them, but none of them were nissans either...their motors include: 4G63 from VR-4 Galant in an eclipse, B16A-1 in a SiR-II hatchback, and another B16...all of which fired up first try with no problems, so i figured their motors had to be decent, especially for the price.

i will never buy from them again, but i cant complain that much cause my motor does run, and does make good compression, the turbo works fine, and the ecu doesnt have any problems so far. i guess i got kinda lucky then, eh?

Well i would feel sorry for him but he prob paid 2-3k less for the motor than any where else. And he should have known that he was taking a chance and he got burned. Just what happens when you go with a company known for selling bad motors.

P.S. I got my motor from them. I had P.S.I. here in new orleans check it out and they couldnt belive it came from osaka. Some times you win but most of the time you get burned real bad.

Spent the day ripping into my motor from Osuka and, everything seems to be in exallent condition. no sign of detonation, no shavings in pan, compression was exallent. like the other guy that got a Blacktop from Osuka my Engine looks like it just rolled off the assembaly line so maybe i got lucky, it even came w/ a grex oil cooler sandwich adapter. but im sorry to those that are less fortunate

P.S. I actually ordered from a company called Plan-B-Co.com and they go through Osuka

what i didnt mention is that now i have no spark due to bad harness, and no ecu, cause they said they are short on those.

They are a bunch of crazy canadians, just scamming people who dont keep on their *** or people who give them an attitude.
