I am afraid that the people that travel that street every day will just continue to blow through it. The Nissan ad is great!

Unfortunately this will desensitize them

The Japanese screw up the english on their signs a lot. When I pass road construction I am instructed to "speed down."

Who gets sued when a car veers into traffic in the opposite direction to avoid the "girl"?

SO what happens when the people realize that it is an optical illusion and dont slow down anymore? Then a real girl runs into the road and gets hit by someone thinking that it is the painted one.

Now kids are going to get hit cause drivers will expect it to be an illusion. Not to mention all the rear end accidents from people spiking their brakes in the road to avoid the illusion. Add that to the fact that you have added a distraction past the crosswalk to draw an attentive drivers vision away form where they should be looking.

This has FAIL written all over it it in big capital letters.

Gonna suck when people get used to it and keep driving, and maybe one idiot will hit a real kid.

Or when someone swerves to avoid it and ends up hitting a real kid.

Do they ever think this s*** through?

Wtf's so bad about regular speedbumps?
My car is low and it's annoying, it's my choice so I deal with it, I wouldn't mind if they didn't make them so damn tall though.

How?
The car could jump the curb, or the kid could be coming out of a car, and the kid wouldn't be at fault.

You're pretty stupid huh.

I was thinking if the kid were in the street. Sorry, different thought process there...

When our last dog got hit by a car we were seriously afraid that we'd be sued for the damages...

Why'd you make the move from the Q45 to the motorcycle? Noob question - what does 250 mean? 250cc? What is that in horsepower?
The Q45 kept falling apart... The engine itself is great, but everything attached to it fails!

Yes, 250cc. At the wheel it's about 18hp.

I bet that 18hp feels pretty peppy though.
Q45 is heavy as hell, and it's also got it's power transferred through a 4 speed automatic from the 90s.

I actually liked the movie. But I've been meaning to order the British (unbastardized) versions of the books for a while now. Thanks for reminding me.

Is it just me or did no one else notice that this is being done in Canada? Stupid Canadiens, and they wonder why they are the butt of so many jokes.

Really?

Most people I've talked to don't have any wishes to live in Canadia.
I don't know if I'd enjoy driving my car in the snow. :(

At least they are going back and picking it up in a week or 2. If it happened here, it would probably be in California, and they'd put it down and leave it there, cos it would cost more to go pick it back up.

No, if it was done here someone would see it and sue the state for child endangerment, plus it would be removed pretty quickly because Mexican's work for cheap.
