Well, I think they are relatively stain free, but I'll just tell you now that the passenger side has at least one cigarette burn (not under my ownership :() They are that tannish greyish color.

Do you know of any companies that make good replacement cloth or super-high quality covers?

all those seats are basically made by the same company..they make the seat, and then you as a dealer tell them what fabric and design you want....you'll see online that there are like 100's of aftermarket seats available...they are mostly the same, just w/ a different name and stiching pattern and color.

Well...perhaps tweed would be what they actually are...either way, they wont go well with a blue interior :( I found some really nice Katskinz leather covers...for 700 bucks.

Throw in a set of those leather covers and we got a deal ;)

I'll see what i can find as far as covers go, so i might still be interested. The only 240sx seats i've been able to find at the junkyards have metal showing through. There are some good looking ones on ebay but they are like red/white black/white. Id prefer like plain black.

see above post about the sliders. the universal sliders won't work. They're paperweights as far as 240's go.

I spent more on my rails/sliders than i did on the seats. Not to mention i had to customize the $350 rails/sliders i got with a dremel. I've still got rusty splinters in my hands from it.

im not sure what your saying? Universal slider will obviously need to be custom modified to fit a 240...

Doesnt matter to me what you buy : )

I have sparco personally and sparco rail/slider.....

the 'universal rails' are completely the wrong width and would have to be welded to the chassis.

The lever on the slider is on the side of the seat, making it impossible to move, therefore making it impossible to slide the seat forwards and backwards.

Could'nt you just either cut the center connecting bars on the rails and either shorten or weld in more metal to make them skinnier or wider? As for not sliding...that's not a problem, I have no backseat ;)

with enough engineering you could make the universal rails work, but it wouldnt be worth the effort. just take my word for it. i can take pics of the universal sliders if you like

Nissan 97-98 oem seats. They are Recaros. If you're going to go cheap get something good.
