Official Release Date is October 6 2009, so it's right around the corner. It's about to go gold and both Microsoft and Sony have fully playable games to test for certification. Barring any unforeseen issues they should go gold end of next week,

Supposedly there will eventually be a PC demo. Which is good, as this is EXACTLY the kind of game that stands to benefit most from a demo. I'm not sure if I'll like it, so I'm not going to buy it. But if I play the demo and like that, I'll probably buy the game.

MOD you must buy this game, the Supreme Master forbids you to do otherwise. J/K, seriously though if you liked the original and you liked ARMA then you;ll like this. Yeah it's been dumbed down a little to support the consoles, but not as much as everyone seems to think. This is one of those games that looks to be GOTY material but will be bumped b/c of Halo ODST and COD MW2.

I pwn at multi tasking.A test EXTREMELY similar to the one on the OFDR site was on a Swedish military website. To be in the Swedish military you would need a grade of atleast 85 or something or you can't apply. The website was for training only. If you actually wanted to join you would need to take the courses live in a class room.

Well considering that everyone that has reviewed it has given it a 9 out 10 I think we're good to go. As far as the multiplayer aspect goes, they have said numerous times that while the single player is exceptional they have dedicated massive amounts of time on the co-op portion and that the co-op is to be be unparalleled.

UK's PC Magazine gave the game 9 out of 10, which judging by the comments I've read on the flashpoint community board is an exceptionally high score that not many games get.

I'll be able to pick up my pre-order tommorrow night but sadly have to wait until Friday when I get paid. Will possibly be trading in Kane and Lynch, Soldier of Fortune and Army of Two towards this.

The weapons in this game have a real good weight to them.

FFFFUUUUUU, I have to wait until I get paid on Friday to go pick up my preorder. I take it you got the PC version, I am really hoping that this game sucks me in like Fallout 3 did, then again I have FM3 and COD:MW2 on pre-order to so who knows.
