That scale uses the old SAT scale that goes up to 1600 not the new one that goes to 2400.Razi wrote:Odd, I got 1600 on the SAT and I listen to oldies.I should've gotten a 950.

Could be a good thing in the future. Think about how hard it would be to control a teenager (as a parent) if they scored higher. You know a teenager is going to bring that up every single argument.Pawn wrote:

And you couldn't figure out a simple chart...EpicNightMayor wrote:Oh, it goes along with what, SAT numbers?f*** beethoven.Just because you don't listen to him doesn't mean s***.This graph is completely irrelevant.I prefer Lil Wayne over most artists on there.

Not really. They simply added a new Writing section which is also out of 800, so just ask anyone who took the new one what their math/verbal score is. I've never heard of a school that actually uses the Writing part anyway. They made some relatively minor changes to the math and verbal sections, but they're definitely still comparable.Pawn wrote:

I hate that they changed the scale.. completely invalidates old SAT scores to the new generation.
I think everyone would just agree with this guy lol.skydragoness wrote:Could you imagine the outrage if you posted this in 240 general chat? It would be epic.

What about syncopation?PantherRacer wrote:nothing irritates me more than off key singing-or someone tapping off-beat. I can stand nails on a chalkboard and the like, but when you're off of the music...I just might punch your lights out...
Of course it doesn't. How many other countries in the world actually have a standardized test where half of it involves the English language? In fact, how many standardized tests have any leverage worldwide?PantherRacer wrote:The chart failed as soon as it used SAT scores, which have no leverage anywhere else in the world.

I have produced music in my country that gets regular radio play, and concert promotion. I do rake and scrape, reggae, hip-hop, rap, R&B, techno, rock, pop. w/e my customers want. I don't go flaunting around with big chains and death threats and the like. that's retarded. my money goes into my car, savings account and more equipment. lol.I'm not even going for the American market, because it's too corrupt IMO. that is the last place we'll actively promote to. England and Asia are going to be hit, because Bahamians have a history of hitting multiple platinum albums from those countries.gwoods wrote:This isn't you is it man?

worth the click I promise!
This is what I think of when I hear someone tell me they are a producer. I think oh really, what have you produced?
So I will ask you, oh really what have you produced?
I prefer the education system that came from England. Which was the model for your standardized testing in the first place....they score higher on the world charts. better reading curriculum.yelnatsch517 wrote:

SAT is a standardized test only for the US in the sense that it tests people who take it on things they should have learned from the United States education system. It would only be logical for it not to apply anywhere else.
Remember that intelligence measures a person's ability to learn, not the extent of his knowledge.
So true. They need lots of free time to make beats and s***. Most can't do it if they have a job working 40 hours a week. Plus most lack any real skills that a job would want to hire them for. Also most are lazy and don't want to get a real job. They form a little squad. The people in the squad make a few songs and get side tracked doing other s***. Ultimately most producers over here go no where.gwoods wrote:looks like you are serious about being a producer. I checked out your site. Over here young, unemployeed men/boys who live with mom are all "producers" so you have to be careful.
