With the exception of the G35 coupe and FX?5's, I completely agree and that's what I'll be looking for when I need another car (~2-3 years). I'm interested to hear how the VK45's "age", as we know the VH41 is very reliable.Q_SHIP wrote:I have to be honest. The new Infiniti cars really don't do much for me with looks. I think the Y33 and Y34 were the last good looking infinitis.
Meh, just stuff a VH45DE in it and call it good.Rex wrote:With the exception of the G35 coupe and FX?5's, I completely agree and that's what I'll be looking for when I need another car (~2-3 years). I'm interested to hear how the VK45's "age", as we know the VH41 is very reliable.
seriously, how can you say no to a laser red G35 coupe with an aero kit?Rex wrote:

Yeah, me too. I wonder if Audi's proposed Q7 made them reconsider not producing a 2006.Falkdesigns wrote:As much as I love my Y33 Q, and trust me, I LOVE my car, I hope they do tweak the Q and give it some of the M's sex appeal. I was happy to see in my Infiniti's Limited Engagement Winter Event mailer I got that the Q was included in the line-up photos, very nice little booklet.
I just want to see the Q continue as a model.
Was there ever a doubt , Just kidding.Falkdesigns wrote:As much as I love my Y33 Q, and trust me, I LOVE my car...
Have had a red car, no interest in having another one ever again , but would take this .Vinsanity wrote:seriously, how can you say no to a laser red G35 coupe with an aero kit?
as for the VH45, maybe they can bring it back once it makes more power than the VQ
They did. It's called a VK45DE. Same exact technology.Rex wrote:As for the VQ, I'd like them to finish by adding the last 2 cylinders .
The first time I saw a Y50 live, it was next to my wife's FY33. The FY33 looked smaller and sportier next to the mass of the Y50.5seryan wrote:You can't tell me that this car with nice dark tints isnt SEX.BONER!
They are the best looking cars on the road Qship. If only they were reliable. And yes, the A8L does remind me of my Q.qship96 wrote:for me, the audi a8L seems to be the successor to the original q - the only new car that captures my attention, everytime i see one on the road.
Right on The newer ones remind me of an over stuffed camry. Maybe It will grow on me.elwesso wrote:has anyone driven one??? Id really like drive one of those A8s...
im going to agree... I like the sleeker/slim lines of the G50/Y33, the later ones are a little too fat, IMO.....
I'm sure many will agree (and disagree) that the Q45 line suffered from reverse engineering and styling. What I mean is that it started out being a car before it's time with the body styling as well as the mechanical engineering aspect...then Nissan back-tracked. First they added the tacky looking chrome strips around the lights and everything else, then less and less power and performance... the Y33 was an even further step backward as the styling seemed a lot more dated and lumbering than the G50... more and more like Buick-like... By the time they started to improve again, it was too late for the line.elwesso wrote:has anyone driven one??? Id really like drive one of those A8s...

Falk, with all due respect.... I LOVE your Q. Period!!!Falkdesigns wrote:I love the unfounded "less performance" comments regarding Y33 from G50 owners. ALL NICO MEMBERS WHO OWN A Q ARE INVITED TO DRIVE MINE. My Q is fast, has amazing handling, unlike Wes says "slightly larger brakes", they're actually significantly larger, and better. The car is lighter and stiffer, two things that always help performance in ANY car.
The comparison between the G50 and A8L must be based on looks only (and that's completely subjective). The A8 is a HUGE car, it has a "real" back seat, with tons of room. It's gorgeous and I love it.
Falk, they are hit or miss cars when it comes to dependability and you can't comare a LeMans vehicle to what they sell to the public...it's not even apples and oranges. I know two sisters...both owned A4s bought on the same day at the same dealership. One drove her's for years until she traded it for an A6... no problems to speak of. The other had major electrical gremlins and overheats going through 2 engine replacements. She was on the verge of invoking the lemon law but finally gave up and sold it. She swears will never touch another Audi again. Read consumer reports on Audi.Falkdesigns wrote:Those are freakin sexy.
Brian, I don't know how you can say that about Audi. They have become the most dominant force in endurance racing over the past 7 years. And over those years, the Audi R8 LeMans car has not suffered a SINGLE engine failure. Sounds like incredible engineering to me.
