man that is sick! ***warning insensitive comment***maybe some animal nazi type will come after her and they will kill each other. like mortal kombat or something. that way the world could be rid of two nuts.***all done with the insensitivity***sorry folks. i dont tend towards that sort of talk but killing for the sake of art is just silly. those animals could have been laboratory test rats and then been usefull. then they could have died to save the life, sight, sanity, etc. of some human.

Would it be better had they died of natural causes? Or if the remainder was used for other causes? Should a libertarian really care? (not rhetorical questions)

i am not so concerned with the remains or with the actual death. i am concerned with the motives and such. its all about whats in your heart(sounds sappy but its true).

Some people just have too much time on their hands. Sick bastards. The mouse finger puppets really get me the most....bleh!I hope some crazy Pet cemetary thing happens and all those critters come back and **** her up and make something "artsy" out of it.

Yeah, but isn't taxidermy only performed on animals that have already died from natural causes?

I suppose shooting an animal fits the "survival of the fittest" theory, so yeah, natural causes...

The problem is, cats are pets, except in poor and rural Laos and Vietnam. And for some, rabbits are pets too.

There's people with pet bears and tigers and such but theyre all in the circus. And we all know circus people dont count.

Are you subtly attempting to make her point as to moral relativity?

Killing a cat is killing a friend. Killing a bear? Not so.

The woman is f-ing nuts and deserves a backhand.

So, in terms of their senseless deaths for purpose of art and exposing moral relativity:

That makes me sick!

When you shoot a bear, you eat it, that why you shot it in the first place. Since you don't eat the bear's skin, you do something useful with it!

SHE KILLED THE CAT JUST TO MAKE A VASE!

what about tigers, lions, snakes, racoons, badgers, wolverines, etc, etc.? I'm guessing you eat those too? Besides, at least she is using "uncruel methods". I'm guessing chloroform. A bullet is not a guarantee of a one-shot kill.

So you guys are telling me you never had to open up a cat in biology? Killed for science, killed for art, why do we have to obey what the Egyptians said anyways?

lack of remorse. just a lil more evidence and you could say she was schizophrenic.

Being an artist, I'm not shocked at Nathalia's use of dead animals. It's nothing new. But I am kind of shocked on her methods of obtaining these animals. Is it hard to obtain rabbits, cats, mice, chickens that are already dead? NO.The fact that she won't get them for free and that she gets them in some other way and then kills them is creepy.

I'm an artist also and I absolutely disagree with killing animals just to express yourself. That's freaking bullcrap. She needs to be killed and stuffed into a vase.

I love cats, and seriously, that rabbit looks just like mine. I DON'T consider this that bad though. Art takes many forms. Consider the number of animals that are put to death every day not only for food, but because we don't have the resources of desire to take care of them. Animal shelters put down hundreds of thousands of animals around the country daily... what makes this any different? At least here there is a motive to create intellectually stimulating art, where as the rest of the animals are put down because there is no desire to keep them around. I would assume that the woman that does this is very aware of what it is she's doing, and what the reaction of most people will be, and her art raises some good questions.
