One popup inactive

I have a 93 240sx coupe SE. My passenger side lamp will not come up when activated. To be more specific, if the P side lamp is screwed down manually, the D side lamp will come up and will not go back down until I manually screw the P side up. And when the P side is up the D side will go up and down perfectly.

Could I have some advice on how to troubleshoot?

I read this post zerothread/93611, and it was simlar to my problem.

You could try to reset the motors, unless one of them is bad..

Hit your popup button once, then double tap it quickly, keep double tapping it...

Hopefully, the effect you achieve is that one comes up, the other goes down, and keeps winking :-)

But, it could also be wiring or the motor, try testing voltage.
