I would love to get a daily driver like a G35. I totally understand where you are coming from. If I were you, I'd try to keep the 240 and get a nice ride that is stylish, fast, and low on theft (something like the m3 and g35).

Once you have modded a car you cant go back to a normal car again. I have learned this.:ylsuper

Unless you have a fat budget, an M3 is a bad choice, especially for a college student on a budget. SAAB and Audi are the same deal. If they were a great performer for the $$$, then more people would own them.
At least you can work on the 240 yourself...
Stick with a reliable, inexpensive to repair product like a Nissan, Toyota, VW or Honda. Why not a Maxima, G20, Jetta or something of the sort?

Nope. S15's are 99-02 i think. They weren't released in North America.AZhitman wrote:Man - I'd be checking out a 97-98 240 if I were in that boat, or maybe even a 350Z or G35 coupe.
I have a family member who is a BMW Tech in Jersey, and he tells me every time I talk to him about how they "...cleaned some poor bastard's wallet out."
Better stock up on brake rotors.
S15's exist, don't they? 96-98 240sx = S15?

I love M3's and have driven a few, but I'm not sure I'd recommend a used one due to the cost of repair.
