hmmmm.......maybe its telling you something......I think you bought and old person/girl car..?? hell my fiancee even wants one. j/p....well IMO if you think about it there really are only 2 sporty/luxery cars that Nissan makes with out going to full sporty (370) or going SUV. The Altima and Maxima.....Maxima's can get pricey

plus there should be no age limit or sex type on good taste.....for example I hate how people claim they are too old for the "import scene" I hope I will never say that....

Exactly, I'm 42 and I know a couple of the members on here is older than me.

I've seen two women recently, I would say they are in their 50's driving a 2.5S.

What got my attention was when I saw a 60+ driving a Mercedes C63!

I see no problem with the older folks driving an AC. I actually see it as a compliment. It's hard to find a car both old and young people both like. Oh, and they won't assume your some young punk trying to race everyone on the freeway...they'll just give you a thumbs up

In my mind, I equate older with wiser... (but I'm old school like that) .. many older/wiser folks want a reliable car, that looks good, and drives well, for a decent price... younger folks may not be as interested in the reliability but they like the looks... the A/C is a nice mesh of what a lot of people want... it seems intuitive to me that everyone would like the A/C if they like a good all around sporty looking car... its a no brainer!

Midlife crisis maybe? aha jkSo what if an 18 year old was driving a 07+ BMW?So as you get older does it mean you get an old car?I think anyone at any age should drive what they can and not on what they can not.

I live in Florida and I see numerous old people driving a A/C but I'm the only 3.5 with a spoiler and black, all the rest is no spoiler and 2.5. I just turned 18 so i think I'm the youngest with an Altima coupe in my area.

Also i replaced the 3.5 V6 emblem with an SE-R emblem so i can stick out lol

you're from sunnyvale huh? i'm from san jose and usually i only see like the bleached blonde early thirties ladies driving them around, and that one random dude i saw in a red one. never seen an old person in an a/c though. still, i'm only 20 and i feel really young driving my a/c.

and you should definitely come out to the next meet.

i thought of that but my car isn't like any other A/C out there, that's why i put the SE-R. It's definitely faster than other A/C in my area with full bolt ons and custom headers getting developed, so to me it's my version of a SE-R

People put type R on their rsx and its not riced out, it's cause they mod it so heavily and make it pull harder than a type R so therefore its alright for them to put on the type R badge, its just like the SE-R badge

IMO, if it didn't come out of the factory as a Type R or SE-R then it will never be a Type R or SE-R.

On a side note, it seems a lot of recent threads have lead me to use the more. anyone else notice that?

well thats different because they come from the factory with a Type-R badge in Japan. in Japan the Acura RSX is a Honda integra and the Type S is a Type R over there i believe. also, you said all the other coupes in your area are 2.5s and yours is much faster so you wanted a badge to distinguish it? the 3.5SE badge distinguishes it from the 2.5s. i have the fastest altima coupe that i know of (besides the turbo ones) and i still just keep the 3.5se badge... but it's YOUR car and at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is if YOU'RE happy with it.

Type R is not the same as Type S, its completely different. Its a different engine. I'm not the only 3.5 in my area, its just that all of the rest is just stock and old people are driving it. I would just like to be different. I hesitated doing the badging but i decided to go with it and i personally think it looks a lot better and different.

Go to nextlevelride.com, they have them in all different shades. I've enjoyed mine, looks like blue chrome.
