Type R is not the same as Type S, its completely different. Its a different engine. I'm not the only 3.5 in my area, its just that all of the rest is just stock and old people are driving it. I would just like to be different. I hesitated doing the badging but i decided to go with it and i personally think it looks a lot better and different.
according to wakopedia, the acura RSX type-S is very similar to the Honda Integra Type-R and has the same engine...

Yeah, but its basically the same engine, just different internals and tune. Its kinda like a VQ35DE and a VQ35HR. I used to have a civic so i was going to do all those engine swaps and crap, thats how I know a little something bout Hondas.

Its like they take the VQ35 and bore it out to 3.7 liters and get 330 hp on the 370z

The K20a is 225 hp on the rsx type R, but on the civic type RR, its bore out to 2.2 liters and is 266 hp
