okay...i ordered the restrictor that you listed Structure...hopefully that will cure the smoking problem..

it does it when i punch it hard and i idle but after like 5 mins it goes away...turbo seals for sure?

also can someone explain the good and bad of running non-recirculated BOV i have the TurboXS RFL and DECEL air settings on..it's workin great so far but i want to know how it's gonna effect me down the road..thanks

it doesnt affect much.....structure is hitting 400+hp with that same bov and does not recirculate

Turbo smoke was more or less constant for me, independent of how much gas I gave (idle too). When you get on it and it smokes it could be more like piston rings. Which would suck. Check your compression.

it only smokes when i'm off throttle and idling goes away after a while though..how do i tell the different between ring lad smoking and turbo seal smoking?

Check your compression. If it's bad then it's the rings (AND possibly the turbo). If it's good then the oil restrictor should fix it, unless the turbo seals/bearings are actually shot, in which case you'll have smoke in spite of good compression and the restrictor.

if the turbo seals were really shot though it would be dripping oil, turbo and manifold would be looking wet

the rfl is also what PK had on their 638rwhp s13. so long as you have the settings so it doesnt bog between shifts, and the bov isnt leaking at idle ( you woul dsee a very rich afr) then you are good to go with it being open

smoke is sometimes black and sometimes white/blue at idle...then goes away and it's fine..if i rev it a bit i'll be fine for a bout 3 secs then puffs smoke...imma do a compression test tomorrow..

UPDATE: compression test result:cyl 1-170-175ishcyl 2-170-175ishcyl 3-170-175ishcyl 4-175-180ish+/- a few psi...

now i'm waiting to see if the restrictor will help...gonna put it in when it comes in...

also it's boosting to between 7-9psi is that safe..on the t25? the A/F ratio is still good when i boost those numbers too. i dunno why it's boosting anything above 7 cause i still run the stock internal wastegate set at 7..
