How about you tell us where the leak is at.

still no help in locating EXACTLY where the leak is coming from (unless u posts pix or something)

check the front/rear main oil seals?

valve cover seal not drizzling oil all the way down to the pan area?

oil pump near the timing cover not leaking oil?

oil filter/oil pressure gauge good?

you can steam clean the engine & then check after a couple o days?

how fast is the oil level dropping?

1. No titles in all caps.2. Leaks like that can't be found by people on the inaterweb for you. Clean off all the oil, well. Run the car for a few minutes and find where the leak is coming from, then either fix it or report back.

Are you sure you cleaned the old gasket off the flange well enough?

Does the car leak while the car is running, or just sitting?

should warrant a new thread, but hey... there's like 3 threads on the same page already...

here's one:

ok, well I have a 95 240sx and it sounds like the same thing as he had. I can't see the leak, but when I put my front end on jacks, and start it up, I can see oil dripping from around the alternator. It only leaks when the car is running.

Mm...bumping 2 year old threads.

More than likely, it's either your timing cover has broken its seal or the front main is leaking. I'm leaning on the front main.

Have you cleaned to make sure not front seal? The PCV system has a little box behind the alternator. If that gasket goes bad it will leak on alt.

Dalesocks: your leak is probably from the oil pressure sending unit. Cheap and easy to fix usually. They leak here A LOT! And it looks like multiple leaks.
