oil cooler woes....

Well do you not plan on changing your oil filter regularly? I mean otherwise if there is enough junk in your oil to block the flow of oil through the filter than, you probably have much bigger problems. I honestly don't think you need to worry about the bypass

why does the filter tree have a bypass, most oil filters have an internal bypass...

when you guys are talking about the coolers themselves, and you said air to air and air to water, thats intercooler lingo. it should be air to oil or water to oil. if you had an air to air oil cooler, where would the oil go?not trying to be a turd, just it out there.

but i didnt know rb25's had a water fed oil coolers. kinda neat until you have to fix it i guess.

Running an external oil cooler will take some of the load off of the water cooling system too. I'm glad you guys are working the bugs out of these oil cooler setups so I can slap one together once I get my motor running. (Seriously this is rediculous. I'm waiting on the machine shop AGAIN! Hopefully I'll have it running by the end of next week.)
