i recommend the dunlops, ive had nothing but good experience with them... theyre a medium compound, a little sticky, but hard enough to last for awhile
Dude is you have a usdm chassy its a friggen 240 with an sr....dont be a gimp...

as far as the oversteer, something is wrong, or you suck at driving.my 240 is very very good in the rain much better then other cars Ive owned....

Um... is there even any other way to execute a u-turn?

I've never spun out with my 240sx... it's really one of the most stable cars I've ever owned. Yes, it's tail happy in the rain, but correcting oversteer is easy... a lot easier than in some RWD platforms. Get decent tires and go easy on the car. It'll be good to you. Then again, the previous owner may have screwed up the suspension, like unbolting the front sway bar or something. Hopefully that's not the case, but in stock form, these cars are REALLY stable street drivers.

as long as you get sued to "playing with the throttle" youshould be able to keep yourself under control and prevent the rear from coming out

ive gotten used to having to do that, since my road is a hill and a corner...winters and rain are horrible on it

Had the RE's on old '96 Volvo, ended up going off the road, in dry weather, in a ditch. Not even doing anything risky- just going 10 over. Ridiculously ****ty tires.

Well it happened again guys. Driving home today from a wedding it started to rain. Being as the roads became wet I was very careful and TOOK IT VERY SLOW. When making a turn I slightly lost traction. I was able to regain. I am buying new tires ASAP. Everything on the car is fine, shocks, springs, etc (I will be replacing soon for lower drop) and everything is like new. Anyhow everyone here states that the RE92's suck so I will be changing them and post the results. As for those smucks who feel I can't drive I drive fine... not even fine but great. Don't forget this isn't my first car, I do drive a tuned Lexus (among other things) and that thing sticks to the road like on rails both when wet and dry. Thanks for all the help.

And 217zenki weLl hella looka there, you a hilbilly who cannn't spell? LOL

..... i'm just going to say farewell to this car right now.

you may drive like a champion but you think a little slow perhaps. go get yourself a tread meter and start measuring. the way it sounds, you need to step up and just get some new tires. so stop posting and start searching, i'll even help u get started:

i mean seriously, i went out and bought some cheap summer high performance tires last winter and they were fine.

I think your the 'slow one' my friend. Read my whole post before you start me off. And I have already done the research and know which tires I will be buying [Bridgestone Potenza G009 for $62 bucks at tirerack.com]. Jeez some people

i did read the whole thread...even look at the first reply you got. this thread is retarded. you must be new to driving-- at least RWD's, cuz decent condition tires won't just slide in the rain. so this means that: A) you're slamming the gas too hard around each corner, or B) your tires need to be replaced.

if you wanted to know what tires were best for traction then you could have just made that the topic thread. plus, you didn't even mention that you wanted to change the tires until the post right before mine...which kind of scares me.

point is: stop asking questions, go buy new tires, go put the tires on, and stop trying to drift in rainy streets.
