So for those of you who are awaiting updates....... I don't have anything really yet but there are going to be some big milestones coming up in the next week (I hope) Have a set of tires 255/40/17 front and 275/40/17 rear without a hit of stretch or tons of negative camber so I sorry for the lack of drift-o-rama but that's not what this is all about. Also have the AEM unit going down with me when I go to work on this so if all goes well we will have a hand made widebody and a running car by the end of the week.

So keep your eyes peeled for pictures and updates. This should be a fun week. Thank god finals are over and that I'm finally going to have some time to work on this thing again.

also i think the shifting thing goes out the window if you ditch the h pattern shifter, i dont think id have trouble shifting a dogbox with my left hand
driving on the right would miss it terribly if i had to get rid of it..

What tires were you running again? Don't be surprised if you really do need tons of negative camber :P

Quote » Also have the AEM unit going down with me when I go to work on this so if all goes well we will have a hand made widebody and a running car by the end of the week.[/quote] The AEM is ridiculously easy to set up and get going with. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

As for the hand made widebody... is it really necessary? The tires you're running aren't that crazy, so I'd think a premade overfender would work for you. There are times I've wished I could've just modded an overfender for my car, as mine still have a ton of work required. It IS nice having an original look, though.

Put them in and they fit fine! had to give the fronts a little bit of tuggin but all is good in the hood. I'll get some pics up in a few hours.

AEM ems is wicked easy, now if only finding a 3/8npt tap for the iat sensor (converting over to map) was as easy it would be up and running right now.

I didn't mean you'd need camber for fitment...

I had Jeff at 240sxMotoring weld mine to the cold pipe right before the throttle body.

I just drilled and tapped it right in the manifold. Here are some pics from the little that I have gotten done in the past few days.

255/40/17 up front and 275/40/17 out back

and here is where I went with the map and iat sensors

you got the 10.5s in rear right?

275/40 just naturally looks meaty because of how much sidewall there is

hopefully the homestretch finally gets over with and you can get this out to start testing

Not shaved yet, only bought 2 tires just to make sure on fit before going all the way with it.

And they are 17x9 not 9.5

Here's a mid-week update. I arrived home on Saturday and hooked up the trailer to bring the car back to my house, but with the heat spell we've been having plus the thunder and lightning storms my work has been minimal.I installed the brake ducts, started planning how we were going to route IC piping Finding a place to weld. But I really felt Like I accomplished Nothing. Until today.

Today I got the car over to my neighbor's house to Weld up some IC piping and fab a Trans X-member Because ours has vanished. So here are the shotsBrake DuctsFilter re-locatorNeighbor's Awesome garageChevelleIC pipingCar I Never Drive anymoreOn the LiftDont Worry those Brake Duct hoses are only there temporarilyUndercarriageFloor

So theres the update you've all been waiting for, We are back in Full Swing and will be hopefully running very soon.

MMMMmmmmm Those brake ducts look really nice I remember wondering how the he!l they were going to mount up but it makes sense now... How much did you end up spending on that? I might incorporate that into my car someday... I like the nissan huddle outside of the garage its like a family watching a fellow nissan in surgery. Kinda made me smile lol. I take it your running z32 calipers and rotors on the front? Also is on the right side of your transmission in this picture?

I also like your hole in the coolant overflow tank I'm starting to get the same one on my car... I wish I lived closer I'd like to help work on that thing Looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun

Brake Ducts were a sponsored part from Kognition Design http://www.kognitiondesign.com. I am using R33 GTS-t Brakes. The big Box is a floor drop where the old exhaust hump used to be.

I wasn't talking about the box I meant the thing on the right side of your transmission the ka's don't have that what is it? It looks like a stick at an angle... I don't know how to describe it but I've not seen that thing before...

I'm not sure, The Converted would know best, its some sort of wiring harness. Maybe a speed sensor or something.

That's an auto RB20 Speed sensor, they use a big thick cable. Don't ask where the SR one is, my RB will not give an answer.
