Creating dummy accounts is a 2 second job, so ban one and the user will just start another one. PSN being free, means sonys first and last line of defense is a full console ban.

MS on the other hand, will ban hammer for fun, getting dummy accounts isnt as easy as on PSN so bans are far more effective.

Nail on the head.

Banning some one from a free service is silly. PS3 is trying to get a upgraded paid service for PSN members. Not sure what the advantages would be but unless they are REALLY good most PSNers are used to a free service so it will take allot of convincing on Play Stations part.

He got banned from PSN, I bet he got an Achievement Unlocked popup when it happened.Ive never heard of someone getting banned from PSN.Thats gotta be achievement worthy.

And this Erik cat is a real piece of fail, he is suing like everyone....haha, i need to follow his story now and see how it goes.Hopefully these companies will counter sue for him wasting their time.

Im getting pissed at campers

COD4 was Grenade of Duty 4: Modern Grenading when its community just started out but as it matured people quit spamming.

MW2 is Camp of Duty: Modern Camping, but as more and more games happen people are slowly starting to camp less....or maybe im just getting lucky, and finding good games.But lately Ive had very very few campers.

P.S I play in the Mosh Pit like 90% of the time, so maybe its just that playlist that is Camp free.

my xbox froze 3 times today while playing MW2. the third one was the worst, I was delivering the last kill for the team then......tire tracks all over my screen!!! IDK....buy an arcade or go elite? I will still send my console for repair since it's a Halo edition. FAWK!!!! 3 games lost due to technical difficulties

Rich I got your invite today but was in the middle of a match and then I totally forgot, and yesterday when I backed out I never got another invite, was looking forward to playing with you guys.

Got the ACR last night, so far I'm not sure if I like it or not, I got mastery for the M16 today, have to say I think I like the M16 so much more than anything else, but the FAL and SCAR are very close behind. I definately don't like any of the sniper rifles, the Barrett should be a one shot kill no matter where you hit them, but it's not. The Intervention is too slow, and the WA200 is a complete waste, the only way you can get a one shot kill is if you get a headshot. I miss the R700 and the M40, especially the R700, I could devastate people with it no matter what map I was on.

The ACR kicks but. I said the same thing when I first got it, I was like this thing doesn't have enough power behind it. The ACR is very accurate especially when holding down the trigger. Well as I said earlier my 360 kept freezing up. Good news!!! I officially have gotten the RROD. This means free repair. I almost picked up an Elite for $269 w/ shipping from Amazon. Well see, repairs take 2 weeks, order from Amazon would arrive by Wednesday. I need more HD space and a new Mic.

....I was just thinking I am 43 almost made it to 48 today so I can get my ACR.

Got the ACR last night, so far I'm not sure if I like it or not...

If I send you an invite, I usually wait about 30 seconds. Then I assume you have other interests. Not a big deal. If we are lobbied and you leave, I might not know why. We all assumed you left. Send me an invite back so I have notice that you were kicked and still want to rock.

I have nothing bad to say about the ARC other then it's weak like the Carbine. The ACR shoots as true as any gun in the game. On a full spray you will have incredible control, almost 0 barrel lift and left-right deviation. I have no problem with the rifles, I wish the M14 was a little stronger but eh.The .50 is well, the .50. The Intervention is interesting because I see ALLOT of mobile snipers using them w/ an ACOG. Not bad when you get used to the shooting timing. WA is a Dragonov with less recoil that plus shorter barrel faster left to right movement ability. I hated the R700, it is a damn hunting rifle. M107 was a nice rifle though.

I no longer die in 1v1's against someone else with the ACR! I love this gun...there is no better rifle...you can hold the trigger down and it shoots the tightest spread ever...I love it!

So i'm kinda a xbox live n00b, as well as a console FPS n00b (Played CSS on a team for a while... nothing crazy but consoles r totally foreign to me now).

This game roped me right in though, its amazing. Looking for some friends to roll with and maybe pick up some sweet pointers along the way. I am finally getting the hang of it though, I think learning the maps is my real problem...

No once the request is sent it will sit in the users inbox until they accept or reject it.So just send as many as you can.Most of the guys in the MW2 thread are active and will probably accept instantly.

I hate it when I have a bad gaming day, got raped in all by 2 rounds and both of those were Free 4 All of which I won one 30-13 and the other I tied for first but got thrown in second b/c the other guy had like 2 less deaths than I did, which is funny b/c the timer ran out as I was pulling the trigger to kill him for the win.

Glitches

Almost a month since Modern Warfare 2 was released and many glitches have already surfaced across the game.Javelin

One of the most noticeable glitches that has been discovered, labeled as 'the Javelin Glitch', is soon to be patched. This glitch allows players to set off a Javelin or other launchers automatically upon being killed, causing death to surrounding enemies. Luckily a patch is in the works and will soon face certification from Microsoft and Sony. It will also go LIVE on PC as soon as testing is complete and successful.

This may seem a pretty cool and fun glitch but I should warn you that you may face the wrath of the Xbox LIVE ban-hammer if you do it. @Stepto, Director of Policy and Enforcement for Xbox LIVE, has stated that if your caught doing this glitch then you face being banned. The ban could last for 24 hours up to 2 weeks depending on how many times you repeat the glitch.

It's still not clear whether the Javelin glitch patch will too be a part of the first Title Update or whether it will be it's own patch. I've played online a bit on my roommate's PS3. Ever since we hit Level 30 we're getting matched up with much higher ranks (obviously), so it's gotten a lot tougher. There's a level of equipment gap at this point in addition to the experience level that's pretty cumbersome.

The camping is maddening. Whenever it comes to everyone moving around and all, I'm good to go with most people, but the campers sitting behind the trashcan waiting for me to sprint by are nonsense.

That said, I still generally have fun and decent kill counts. Death counts are a bit too high though.

Epic split screen games in my apartment pretty much nightly. In fact, I just pitched the first perfect game by any of us in a 3-way free for all. 20-0, not even using my preferred loadout. They had a few kills of each other, so I guess it wasn't quite perfect.

Anyway, fantastically fun game. When I get my own profile set up I'll look for you guys.

In other news, I got pulled into a glitched game last night...it was a "Team Deathmatch" with 18 people on Rust....

Funny thing was, you could kill your teammates and enemies and get points for it, and there was no score...it was just 15 min of people running around and shooting each other. I got like 7500 xp just from kills...lol

I did it once just because i want to get to level 70 quicker. 2 classes once with the riot shield and one man army the other with a machine gun or dual p 90s with one man army. Playing search and destroy, all you do is take turns shooting each other with the shield out. Get ridiculous points. 1000xp every couple of seconds

I've been sucking the last few days, don't know if it's because I've been playing with my custom load outs or because of the crappy matchmaking system sticking me with people who are 10000000;oshgahfhaffkcjn times better than me. I've been a higher rank than most of the people I've been playing but I haven't had a match in a few days where the timer ran out before the kill count was reached. actually the games I've been playing lately have only lasted 5 or 6 minutes before the kill count is reached.
