Brandon, I know I already sent you the deposit for the HID kit...do you think the factory ballast would work as well as an aftermarket one? If so, would I still be able to get the 6000K bulbs in there?brandonbeeb wrote: also if anyone that has a 2.5 is interested i have factory ballast and bulbs for a setup if your looking at getting an hid kit
Those shrouds look sweet Brandon. I order the gatlin style shrouds. Do you think you can post up some side by side pics of these shrouds and the gatlin style with both the thick and thin angel eyes?brandonbeeb wrote:ok guys i know some of you want the larger style angel eyes/demon eyes but my supplier sent me this picture so you can see how the smaller ones will look incase you cant decide, i have both in stock so either or. i really love these shrouds, seems like they where made for these lights. btw ive got a company working on carbon fiber parts for our cars also if anyone that has a 2.5 is interested i have factory ballast and bulbs for a setup if your looking at getting an hid kit

Aiming the headlights is done exactly as you said. I'm not sure the exact distance you are supposed to be away from a wall and then how high the beam is supposed to be (should be on the internet somewhere), but this is how it's done. With the way Brandon is mounting the projectors, I believe this can easily be done the exact same way as OEM adjustment (Brandon, please correct me if I'm wrong). If this is the case, it is a very simple fix that anyone can perform once they have the lights in their car.bina12834 wrote:looking really good spock.....are these the fx projectors with the tsx lenses? these pics eliminate every doubt that i ever had in my mind
question.....how do you know that they need to be raised? do you need to sit a certain amount of feet back from the wall and then the beam should be so many inches high?
You mean lower, right? The goal is to not blind the oncoming traffic!bina12834 wrote:the only thing i know is that the passenger side beam is supposed to be aimed 2 inches higher than the driver side beam when parked 25 feet away from the wall....im just not sure how high the cutoff is supposed to be from the ground. if anyone knows....please, chime in.
right.....thats why i said the passenger side light is supposed to be 2 inches higher than the driver side beam when parked 25 feet away.ESP wrote:
