This is getting silly. In my opinion, you've treated Brandon unfairly from the beginning of this group buy. He has taken two weeks to do my lights, and I don't think that's unreasonable considering I told him to take his time.

I dont have to justify my request to you guys (its like a girl asking MOM why shes gotta be home by 1am, FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!). .

You don't need to justify your requests...but you are not above criticism simply because you are a moderator. In fact, you should be calming things down, instead of stirring them up. You do know what it means to "moderate", right? And I don't need a hot headed 26 year old looking out for me...thank you very much MOM.

You guys take it like I said hes a hack, when all I asked for was a picture of his materials.

You suggested it was wrong that he had the group buy participants' money for so long and asked for evidence of what he had purchased with a current newspaper in the picture. You may not have suggested a hack, but you certainly suggested he was dishonest.

Surely there is someone on this forum responsible for moderating YOUR actions.

I was one of the few who had to find someone and take my spot on the group buy after I paid the deposit. My concern was not really based on some of the negative feedback Brandon was getting, as many customers seemed happy, but I was going through hard times. My family business was robbed at gunpoint leaving me with a S*** load to deal with along with school.

I couldn't afford the time. I just didn't want to be one of the few who has to send back the lights a few times cause of shipping. But now that I have a bit more leisure time I wouldn't mind picking up someone's spot in the GB again... but AS LONG AS I DON'T HAVE TO BUY AN EXTRA PAIR OF SEDAN LIGHTS.

Customer Service at it's best. I don't think Lightwerks offer this type of personal service IMHO. Good job Brandon.

As for down time, Brandon has had my lights for a couple of months now but I told him to take his time and if he's got other member's lights that for him to do them first so he doesn't fall behind on his commit date. It took me a couple of months to send him back my lights initially since I felt it was my responsibility (not his) to get replacement lights so I had lights to drive around in while Brandon was re-doing mine.

I understand and see LBC's point of view but in the same time I see Brandon's point of view. I'm not taking anyone's side here. I'm watching this subjectively from the sidelines however it does seem that Brandon has been taking a lot of the beatings here. And although it may appear that LBC maybe doing the beating, let's keep in mind that members are probably contacting LBC on the side expressing their concerns hence LBC calling him out.

I think we should all stand back and take a deep breath and let Brandon get his work done and not rush him since after all this is a custom job. But in the same token, communication between the customer (you) and provider (Brandon) has to to be at a frequent level so the customer knows what is happening at all time.

Sure I have to answer to people, you guys, the members.

And I am not above criticism, but when you get emails from members that are upset its my DUTY to speak up on their behalf, if you got the emails I get I am 100% sure you would feel differently about your post, but Im not taking back my questions to brandon....

If Stillen or Racingline had customers concerned they would be put to the same process, the thing thats bad (and wont happen again) about this situation with brandon is a GB...

A group buy is reserved for things that can be delivered in a timely fashion. Id rather have brandon take his time and not rush product out, but I also dont think its fair to have someone who paid for a product a long time ago with nothing to show for it.

My lights are done because I went to the added expense of buying my own spare set so that I would be able to drive my car while Brandon was working. Brandon sent me several email messages wanting me to get my lights to him so that he could get the group buy completed. I suspect he has done this with everyone else who's lights are not completed.

If you've received private concerns about Brandon, then you should have addressed it privately. Bringing the issue public on the forum looks very much like an attack, especially since you make no mention of simply speaking up for other people in your post. It also has the effect of discrediting Brandon in the eyes of everyone else.

I understand what you are trying to do, but I still do not agree with your methods.

if you guys wanna question my customer service here ya go. i know theres 2 members that want out of the groupbuy and there saying there not having any luck, yet on nissan club i get tons of sedans asking to get spots but they need spare lights. so long story short i went out bought a sedan light with factory hid and ballast in it and had it over nighted to me from the u.s.awasnt cheap and it came out of my own pocket just to help some of you guys out. looking for the other sice of it today

I agree with Rob, Alt.Ima and infantry too...LBC, from my point of view it really seems like you do have something personal against brandon. I mean, you were the one that sent out the original email trying to rile members up and had a couple of them talking about driving down to Canada too?

And I don't understand why members are contacting you, instead of brandon himself, with questions on lights. If they are, why not just politely redirect their questions to him, instead of airing that out on a public forum?

+1...probably not doing a very good job moderating when you have multiple members that feel the same way.
