"K1LLA"at least you managed to pollute the thread. this is not an "i hate cops" thread. such threads seem to get shut down rather quickly. thanks for ruining it for the rest of us.

Haha I was gonna try to make it out to the Big Nissan bash at SWA but I didn't want to roll up in my honda and get a beat down (by all you guys packin heat/extendable beater sticks). Next meet I'll come by in my friend's Nissan pickup or an Infiniti, or hopefully a 240 :D so I feel safe.

I know a guy that carries one of the 5 cell mags. It beats the hell outta the PR and ASP. It does the job like no other.

Last summer i made a 8 cell mag light. I got my friends mag that had a ****ed head unit and cut off the bat. containerand threaded it. Then with my mag, (4 cell) and his (2 cell) and my brothers old one (2) I put it together with a higher wattage bulb

I have a 91 dx. (a screaming 92 hp....but only 2100lbs)My "mods" are makeshift intake(no resonator and brake ducts dremeled open to flow some air in there), eBay brand front and rear strut bars with tie bar when I feel like installing it, and a muffler(old one was holy) Momo steering wheel and revolution rims painted to match (dark red) courtesy of: previous owner. My horn assembly was making noise behind the steering wheel so I rerouted the wiring and added a button on my dash...I just tell people its a NOS button. Oh yeah my transmission makes noise and im leaking oil. Its actually a fun little car but is not much faster that a lawn mower, and sounds like one. Atleast I have no stickers or glowing shift knob.

but back to the point....yeah I should have been there but I was just too lazy....next time...-Ben

yeah I hate to break it to you guys but off-duty cops have full power as if they were on duty. I have been pulled over and ticketed by an off duty undercover HP that was on his way home. He even said I've been off work for two hours and going home and your going to race your friend and make me waste an hour....

That was a $140 ticket in Oklahoma that definitely held up in court....

Also tailgated a minivan at 3am that was doing 15mph in a 35mph neighborhood. Got to a stopsign and I'm getting pissed at this point and a guy comes stomping out of the drivers seat and walks right up to my window which is rolled down before I can do S H I T. And starts yelling at me. Then walks back in his van and gets out a ticket book and starts writing a ticket and I was like dude.. Come on man you were doing 20mph under the speed limit what would you have done in my situation????? He looked at me a second like he was thinking about it. Tore up the ticket and told me don't let it happen again....

SO off duty or onduty don't be fooled you can still get the shaft..

I don't see how they can pull you over with no lights or any insignia. When he waived his badge at me I just looked forward and payed no attention. Both times they were all talk(or badge). They knew the power of my CRX and backed off I guess.:rotflmao

crx, I think the main thing you need to remember is that even if a cop is off-duty, he still has the ability to uphold the traffic laws. If you ignore him, and if you've convinced him that you're worth the hassle, he will call your location and your plate in and request a unit to come pull you over. Just like the thread a while back where guys were saying, "oh yeah man, if i was doin like 120 or whatever and a cop was at a standstill, he'd never catch up to me." If a cop really thinks it's necessary, he can call in resouces to bust you. Last time i checked, cops dont just go around flashing their badges to feel cool. They do it because they saw you were up to no good, and are ready, capable, and sometimes very happy to make you pay for your stupidity.

EDIT: crx, I'm not saying you're stupid. Just use caution.

Yeah I understand that aspect but,

He pulled the badge because of honking. We were sitting in a light going "honk honk honk honk honk" and the other person would go "HONK HONK" Not honking to piss someone off or because we were pissed, just for fun.I think in this case he was either really anal or just trying to flex his cop muscle.
