Dont you just push "Clock"? I thought that did it for me when I had my stock head unit. Bose or non?IBCoupe wrote:I thought I had, at one point, made a thread about this, but it might have been on the other forum.
My in-dash CD/Radio display doesn't tell me the time. Generally speaking, this is okay; I wear a wristwatch. But it's bugging me. I go into the settings, and it tells me that the clock is on. It's been this way since I bought the car (used). Not sure what the heck's going on; I'd take it into the dealer, but I hit 60000 miles three weeks or so ago.
Any ideas? One solution might be to rip the sucker out and switch to an aftermarket system, but that's a pricey fix to what should be working properly.
I had non Bose and there is a "Clock" button in the upper right? corner I think? You push it to turn the clock display on and off, and then hold it to set the clock. Not sure of the Bose set-up but I imagine it to be similar.IBCoupe wrote:Bose.
I haven't tried resolving this in at least six months, so I might have tried that back then, if I found a "clock" button. I can't recall the layout of my dashboard right now, and my car's a five minute walk away without pay, so...

Maybe that's why. That is definitely the nav unit. It shouldn't need anything other than an antenna. I'm confused as to why nav doesn't function for you. Clearly, there is a nav selection on there, I can see it in one of the pics.IBCoupe wrote:I don't have the nav or a back-up camera.
that'd be some bs if the stealership removed that stuff and made u pay to get it back just to get more $$$$$$IBCoupe wrote:My fear is that the antenna will be missing in a more severe way, like the back-up camera is. I can see the hole where it ought to be above the license plate, but nothing's in it.
I've read that the wiring runs through the roof, and it might be a huge PITA to replace.
