It's drivable, I drive it around daily. Most people wouldn't even complain about how it runs, but something is definitely wrong. Did you stop working there when they changed ownership or something? I guess I could probably find time to drive out some day.

I began looking for a job when I found out it was up for sale. I found out through the grape vine since the owner didnt have the balls to tell his employees. I secured a job at Elk Grove 3 months before it went into escrow. When I heard it went into escrow I gave notice and finalized the paper work with Elk Grove. Let me know when you would want to swing by here. I am off sundays and mondays this month. Although the last sunday of this month I will be going to infineon for the indy race and this monday I gotta run up to consumnes college to register for some classes. Other then that I am pretty much free on sundays and mondays

I could probably swing by tomorrow. Also, the new ownership really sucks at folsom lake nissan, and there's no damn place to park anymore.

Get me an email and I will send you my number. Sorry didnt see this yesterday , was busy last night putting a fuel pump in my neighbors 97 chevy 1500 pick up. WITH A FULL TANK!!! shuf suskebchd@#$%!!!!!

Yeah Folsom has seriously gone down hill. there was one original tech left there as of last month. The rest are rookie inexperianced techs. He was the one and only employee that dealer had before the sale. I talked to him about a month ago. I honestly didnt see him staying much longer as he said it is run like a military camp there now. When I quit one of my techs quit the same day, he gave notice when he found out I was leaving. I ran the shop pretty much ,was the Nissan crew leader. My master tech quit 3 days after I did. There were only 6 of us there at the time. So we pretty much cleaned the place out. From what I understand My buddy was the only Nissan experianced tech in the place as of last month and like I said I didnt see him sticking around much longer.

If you ever worked the parts counter, I've probably met you before. But yeah, at one point I was parked out behind the dealership by folsom blvd, and when i came back out they asked me if it was my car because I needed to move it, and said so in a pretty rude way. That's a great way to keep customers.

and changing a fuel pump when there's a full tank sounds like a ton of fun.

Anyway, what's your email address? I can't seem to find it.

It's also probably worth noting that my EGR solenoid opens approximately "whenever the hell it feels like it", not sure what's up with that.

Your egr solonoid should open when ever the gas pedal is depressed [ When ever the hard idle contacts open] And thats when its warmed up to operating temp.

I didnt work in parts. I was a tech in the shop for the 6yrs I was there. [Since they first opened the dealership]

It seems to only open when I press the accelerator fairly hard and quickly, and regardless of RPM.
