Im getting so sick and tired of the harassment i get from cops around my area. I've now been pulled over 6 times since may just because of my car. Also ive been pulled over 2 time in the past 5 days. Five days ago i was detained and my car was searched. The cops found nothing i was on my break from work, so i was left off without any ticket for windows or front plate. Today I "Rolled" the stop sign a mile from my house so the gives me my second moving violation within 18 months of my last traffic school. +1 for the licence!

All of them say its because how it looks and because im a kid. I know cops get people all the time around my area so i always make sure to make a complete stop. Im so sick of court dates for my car ive actually considered selling it

I've been getting harassed lately too, not as much but still to bug me. My parents think I am a bad driver and taking advantage but I swear I don't drive as bad as it seems.

I was pretty much set up for a speeding ticket, the cop pulled me over 3 blocks from where he said he clocked me at 68 in a 50 zone, however the address he wrote down where he saw me the speed limit is 35.

I have been pulled over twice since then (about 2months ago) for tinted windows and tinted tails.

I'm just planning on lightening my taillights up a little bit so they have some red to it, and I plan to get my windows darker even though the harassment, the front is too light for my taste (35%)

I've been pulled over twice since September. Once in Corona and once in Brea. Both situations weren't really related to my car though. Where at in the OC have you been pulled over so much?

ugh, gotta love profiling. Just try not and give them any reason to pull you over. Use blinkers, complete stops, etc. If you do get pulled over for no reason, just be cool and let them know you understand why you're being pulled over and it happens all the time. Just don't speak in a forced tone; that's about the worst thing you can do.

On a side note, some guy around here was circling a building in his G37 around 3 in the AM. Cop pulls him over and he's got 35k worth of herb in his trunk. Don't know if it actually was that much, but they did confiscate his car. Sounds like someone is eventually going to get a deal at a po po auction.

No, I have to give them both, because I live in Cali and I have a Virginia drivers license. They have to see proof as to why I don't have a Cali license.

But Rob i dont know if i can take it anymore. down in orange county the cop have nothing better to do then get one custom car after the other. With crime so low tickets are always high. And maily all the harassment comes in the Rancho Santa Margarita area. I have been pulled over twice in my community Coto De Caza, including yesterday.

Last Thursday... I got a fricking, "Equipment Violation" for no front plate. The kicker is that I was attending my work's "Christmas Party" and my car was parked in the parking lot.

When I came out the sheriff was just leaving. By the time I got to my car I saw it on the windshield. It's such bull**** because...

1. There was a car parked in front of my car. so he had to really get out and inspect my car just to give me a ticket.

2. The parking lot was relatively empty by the time we got out, but two lanes over directly behind my car, there was a Dodge Magnum with 22's, all blinged out, NO FRONT PLATE... and NO TICKET. Also, in the same lane as me, two spaces over was my ASM's car with no front plate. Again... NO TICKET. The hell?

Yup, i've experienced it. SoCal cops can be pure prix at times. I had a SD police pull me over and its so obvious he just hates rice rockets and started goin on and on about this DragNet team they have in SD.. all i could think of at that time is.. suck a fat one...

Seriously, I was stopped around august when I was following my wife home and we were both turning onto the on ramp of the highway. I was talking to my wife on the phone via the car's bluetooth when I saw the red lights go on behind me. I stopped and told my wife that I was being pulled over. When he approached the car, I could tell that he was surprised to see an older person behind the wheel and not a teenager. He gave me a ticket for failure to use my turn signal which I recently beat! The second time i was approximately 1/2 a mile from my house and was pulled over by a state cop because of my tinted windows. Again the cop was surprised to see an older person behind the wheel. He gave me a warning and I complied with it.

Basically, some cops like to profile our cars and the people who are driving them. Pisses me off to know that my tax $$ is going to good use.

Im sorry cops have been on your @$$ lately, but I think selling your car is a little irrational, if you are planning on getting a different car, why not by like an old Volkswagen bus or something thatd be fun.

use that as like a daily driver, and take your coupe out on weekends or something, seriously your car is beautiful and I wouldn't want to see it leave,

2 b honest dude, your car does sort of resemble what ricers what do regarding the color scheme, yours just looks a bit classier... definately screams out "I'm a young kid in a potentially fast car"

the aggresive scheme of your car gives it a "fast and furious" racer car look .... that plus the tinted windows is probably why you keep being pulled over.... also, as you may well know, OC is the most notorious of all SOCAL areas for cops that target street racers... the new impound and crush policy they have hasn't had enough victims, and they are always looking for new new cars to crush

so i would say its your color scheme and tinted windows...

I live in San diego, with 5% tint, and I've never been pulled over (granted I roll with my windows down around cops)...but hey, it could be worse, you could have to deal with these f*cking thieves every month!

I just can't bash cops blindly anymore.... after meeting John (Alien tracker) and hanging and shooting with him... and having him give me some great pointers on becoming more accurate... I will now only blast bored cops, racist cops, and profiling cops... and since the cops that keep pulling you over fall into the profiling category.... F*CK EM!!!

I live in OCI dont get harrassed Ive been pulled over for crossing double solid lines & got a ticket but that was legit. Ive been pulled over for Tint but i got away from it because im going through the hiring process for the departent

When i had the window and taillight tint taken off i hated it.Its always going need something but thats what gets me in trouble. My parents gave it to me and since i turned 18 i might swap it for a G or something else fun but mostly stock If i end up selling i'll let you guys know. Maybe one of you would buy it???

if you are going to swap it for a g your going to have the same problems...just take the tint off and put a front plate on and you'll stop getting so much attention... Also since your parents paid for it I really see no issue with paying a ticket every once and a while i mean you didn't have to do anything to earn the car and you don't have to pay for it. Your tickets are minuscule payments towards it.

Maybe hop on ebay or an authentic link and pick up a PBA or FOP membership card...

Then put your front plate in your grill, or get one of those flip up things from stillen, dont drill holes in the bumper!

Then take the tint off the front 2 windows... the white cars contrasting colors with the dark tint make it easy to spot.

Def dont consider selling your car though man... its not going to fix anything... Unless you get a junker... cops will always pull over a nice ride!

Go to court and fight it. I'm fairly certain a no front license plate ticket is classified under moving violations. If you car is parked in a parking lot, they cannot bust you for a moving violation.

If that doesn't work, tell them the bolts fell out that hold on your front license plate, and your plate disappeared. You ordered new ones from DMV, and they haven't arrived yet.

There are stock gs everywhere where i live. you blend it it you have one. And this isnt just a once and a while thing. the begining of the summer i had windows plates and taillights to take care of. After court and everything else there was $250 in fines and another cool $524 for new stock tailights from the dealer (i had painted tailights). Plus the speeding ticket a few months before which was my fault. Another 319 to the courts. So im getting sick of putting all this extra wasted cash in my car

i got pull over sunday the 28 of dec and i got my license suspended for 6 months i got 3 ticket that morning around 3am. ticket-1 speeding, ticket-2 improper switch of lanes(zig-zagging), ticket-3 tailgating when switching between lanes. everyone of those tickets was mark aggressive driving so it was 4 point each so i now have a total of 12 on my license. so i really don't like the cops just for the fact that they pulled me over lol
