There's a difference between getting valid tickets and being harassed...
As for being harassed, I wouldn't get rid of the car. If you do, they win! Do exactly the opposite! Eventually, they'll know the car, and the driver, and not bother stopping you again! Assuming, of course, you aren't being foolish on the road or it's blatantly illegal. If you stand out, you need to be good. End of story. Then... tack on the illegal tints and overlays, etc.

I have only been pulled over 3 times. Once for doing 80 in a 65 and the second time for window tint and blacked out tail lights. I got the window and tail light tickets signed off so they where cheep, but i have never been herrased by the cops. A cop once asked me where my front license plate was, and I told him it was stolen and i was waiting for the replacement.
