Let's not be silly. When a new president takes over, there is always "change". Sometimes its change you like, and sometimes its change you dislike. Just because "change" is happening it doesn't mean anything GOOD is happening. Hell, I could change my underwear. Am I special?

But so far, I like these new changes.

The National Media and Democrat groups ran this guy through the ringer; the State of Ohio invaded his privacy (by investigating and releasing his information) multiple times. All over $1,182.

Now the incoming Obama Administration wants you to believe that Tim Geithner's (nominee to head up the Treasury Department) failure to pay $34,000 was just an "honest mistake" and 'has been corrected." Yes, the guy that will oversee the IRS and the enforcement of tax code has had a tax problem of himself. I'm sorry, if it had been any of us common folk and not a big bad IMF (International Monetary Fund) executive, our asses would have been thrown in jail and all of our assets seized. And heaven forbid if you have anything to say about the tax code or potential tax code. The news media will run you through the ringer!

What a class act of an Administration.
Just want to say first on that Katrina thing that LaFarge had parked a few large cargo ships near the levy in New Orleans. Bad move if there is going to be a storm surge.

Geithner would not have been thrown in jail as long as he had legitimate questions about weather he should pay or not. Since he worked with the IMF he probably knew a little bit more about the tax code than those sitting there asking him questions about it.

I think he has made some bad moves so far but not as bad as saying water boarding isn't torture.

Certainly I am not a cheerleader for the new administration but I do think you have to give them more time to do things.

The detainees need to be released immediately. It's too late for a trial and tortured people will make them bad or worse. It's too late for a trial. That should have been done under Bush.

Picking Clinton's buddies means Obama is lacking in experience.

In my opinion Obama has made at least 10 mistakes so far.

To see a Martin Luther King and Obama graphic t-shirt just makes me laugh though.

To alleviate confusion I would like to point out there was merely a time limit on them becoming lobbyists, not a ban all together.

A 2 year time limit, which is the same standard applied to government employees working on contracts.

Either way a nice change. But now that he put the idea in my head I want a lifetime ban.

I love lobbyists.

Seriously. I don't have the time to constant campaign for an agenda in my state and national capital.

Therefor, I, and a bunch of like-minded people can team up to hire someone to be our voice!

I'm fine with some lobbying, but when industry people are writing legislation, the relationship is a little too cozy.
