Are you for real?

Are we talking about the same thing? You really think McCain got "Barack Rolled" at the RNC? Did you watch his speech at the RNC?

Umm, really???

If you were brain dead or have lived in a cave since the DNC until today you would think that's real.

Apparently he didn't pick up the rhythmic coordination gene.

Does he dance like a white guy or a white lesbian?

I want to see McCain dance, maybe to a waltz in a 1700s outfit and wig.

First thing I thought when I saw that background at the RNC was "They need to fire whoever put up a solid blue background behind McCain..."

I think Barracks stiff jerky dance moves are an attempt to pander to white people.

Way to be informed.

Do you even watch the news? Don't you think that if something like this happened at the RNC you would have heard about it on mainstream news?

You're a McCain supporter and you didn't watch him accept the nomination of his party?

A.) I want to privatize huge swaths of the military and every prison in the United States. I support the elimination of the estate tax. I'm pretty sure I'm not a "Libby". I may be an Obama supporter this go-round for various reasons, but that doesn't make me a "Libby".

B.) I'm not making a fuss over anything, I'm just incredulous that you think such a preposterous thing might be real. It says certain things about you, and those things are not flattering, which is why I gave you a second chance to clarify what it was you meant.

Huge swaths of the military are already privatized. An acquisitions officer can expect to be the lone serviceman in a group of maybe 100 contractors. The state-side bases are all guarded by fat, lazy, overpaid mall ninjas. We're at the point where further privatization is a serious security risk. Privatization would save a ton of money, but the real value of a professional military is loyalty.

That, and you know, I don't want to be collecting unemployment.

Hash, I'm with you on privatizing prisons, but no way on the military (at least not as much of it as you want).

I AM for greater oversight and accountability, especially when it comes to getting what we pay for.

I think charlieo (or anyone in active duty) will agree - There's a lot of wasted manhours and lots of wasted resources... Some parts of the US military are a "tight ship", others are fraught with sloth, laziness, incompetence and waste.

Oh no, I'm not just talking about contractors.

I mean COMBAT FORCES. I want to privatize nearly all combat forces in hopes of hastening our transition to unmanned combat.

I love how it's okay to make fun of Mccain bc he's white, but you can't say a thing about obama bc he's black, and that would be racist.

Nice, not exactly what I had in mind, but funny nonetheless.

AmberLynne, I'm kinda confused by your two posts. You at someone making fun of Obama and then go on to complain how one can make fun of McCain and not Obama because its "racist". I dunno if its because I've been up since 5am or because I've had too much coffee.

As for racism, if you can't make fun of person because of his/her race, you're a racist subconsciously in my book. Stereotypes are stereotypes, not all of the are demeaning or mean. We can sit here and make fun of hillbillies sitting in their trailer, eating mayonnaise sandwiches, and watching NASCAR with a PBR, but that's "ok" because they're white and I'm white. If I wasn't white, would that be racist? Because that's just socioeconomic discrimination, but its still a stereotype. I've been in situations where I am the minority, and at times it was uncomfortable because I'm rarely in that situation and its always with people I don't know and giving me this look as to why I was there. But you just have to open yourself up, break the ice, the barriers and its all good. If they have issues with you, they're racist as well. Chris Rock has a great comedy skit on racism, and he asks, "Who's more racist? Black people or white people? Black people. You wanna know why? Because black people hate black people, too!"

Try again. His mother is White and his father was Black. Therefore, he's twice the target...

OMG I was saying, If I said hey he eats chicken like hes black. I'd get **** for being racist so saying white ppl can't dance is not allowed to be said either.

I can't even say oh I didn't know yall did that to a black person w.o them going omg ur racist.

Your dumb if you don't see that in todays society
