You still fail. Im sorry, but for 8 years we were all indoctrinated that if you don't support the war, then you hate the troops. I didn't hear any backlash from the right about that? Wait, you mean its only acceptable when the GOP is behind it? You mean Obama's messages of hope, staying in school, achieveing your maximum potential, are MORE dangerous to children than, "You are either with us or against us?"RobPaulson wrote:I absolutely can not believe that hollywood is doing this out of the goodness of their hearts. The advertisements promote far extreme-left websites and some inappropriate content for audiences that the shows are aimed at. (planned parenthood and abortion clinics, websites promoting nationalized healthcare as a miracle fairytale cure-all for america) While not a big deal to most independently minded people, this is a very big deal for most children. To children, these advertisements and moral projections from shows are truth to them, absolute and undeniable truth unless someone of higher standing to the child (aka a parent) speaks to them and explains things.
If I could edit my title I would, it was a bit extreme, feels like it takes a more interesting/controversial title to get anyone to click on something in this forum. So maybe you just saw the title and responded, but I was quite cool and collected in my post. You need to chill out.
Play nice.heliochrome85 wrote:im sorry, but you are an absolute moron if you sit there and take this and turn it into a huge Obama thing.

message of hope? what hope? 1.2 TRILLION dollars in MORE debt? nationalized health care that WE CANT AFFORD? The drop of the dollar? Pathetic publicity stunts and misinformation to sway the ignorant public a certain way? I voted for the man, and I'm not the first one to have felt lied to and betrayed.heliochrome85 wrote:You mean Obama's messages of hope
Typical immediate defensive response. Give me a break. I have already stated my specific issues with the entire situation. Did you not even read my post? Why do you feel it necessary to turn me into an ignorant anti-progressive bigot? Here let me repeat myself:heliochrome85 wrote:staying in school, achieveing your maximum potential, are MORE dangerous to children than, "You are either with us or against us?"

We have the right to bear arms. Damn, were they actually shooting at the president or were they just throwing rocks at him?
So was Bush.
Are you black? I'm going to have to assume you are. Shut the Fack up and stop your b****ing. There were white, black, purple and green people in the tea party protests. Unless you have a legit reason to call us tea partiers' racists you better keep it to yourself. Oh, and protesting against a man, who happens to be black, and happens to be our president, is not racist. Spray paint him white and I would still protest against him.

good lord people are ignorant. Tea party rally in washington was a peaceful gathering. no one got hurt, nothing got destroyed. no damages.telcoman wrote:What else would one call people holding up Nazi signs at healthcare informational meetings, bringing guns and screaming instead of listening?

Problem is, they promote all these great things all the while misinforming its public and lying to them. Pointing them to sites like:http://healthactionnow.org/heliochrome85 wrote:Economic development and financial securityHealth and Well being...
I can see how those would be scary. Obama clearly is trying to manipulate our lives by promoting these evil and socialist ideals.
give me a break.
Last time I checked Herr Kommisar Howie, the National Socialists were Socialists and the participants in the TEA party stand in stark contrast to what Socialism stands for. You label incorrectly anything that can be perceived as right winged, as National Socialism. There has only ever been one real National Socialist movement here in the US and that was during the 1930. Known as the Bund, this movement was neither, republican nor conservative. But I am sure you will disagree and invoke either the Patriot Movement or the Skinhead/Neo Nazis Movement as being the quintessential right wing Nazi movement. Both of these movements would make horrible National Socialists and would probably be disassociated with the National Socialists of Germany during the 1930’s-40’s.telcoman wrote:What else would one call people holding up Nazi signs at healthcare informational meetings, bringing guns and screaming instead of listening?
