Just bought a Silvia S15 Spec R head:D :naughty: possibly with Tomei cams in it!
If not I'm getting rid of the vt cam putting in some 272's doing a brigdeport and a threaded seal in it to prevent the oiler from spewing oil where it shouldn't since I have to put the head on an S13 block lmao (sleevin the block too).
Should be well worth it. Btw already posted one Q in the SR forum and was already mocked and ignored, so I'm done with em, CA guys FTW!!!!!!!! :mike

I can't wait to pull the CA and give it some much needed attention!

Yea, that is detonation. Too much booooooosst, with not enough timing retard/extra fuel on pump gas will do that.

Lol Float sorry referring to a machine process id have to do to mate that head to my block due to a difference in oiling issues with the head on an S15 vs a head on an S13> On the s14 head, it has the same hole in the head stud hole but that supplies oil pressure to the VTC solenoid. This poses a problem because if I don't modify the head then I will have no oil pressure to the tensioner, so here is some info for anyone in the future who decides to attempt this. I went to several machine shops and some said they could do it. The shop I had my head decked quoted me 150 dollars to drill a hole. Another shop said 100. Both said they couldn't get to it for at least a week. I decided to take it to a place nearby called Midwest Chassis and Performance. The shop is built behind the owner's house. It sounds shady but this guy is recommended by everyone in town. I take it to him and he says he has a "bridgeport"to do it and it will be 30 dollars. I am in disbelief. Then I tell him that I jb welded the other hole and he said he will use a threaded plug to plug it for 20 dollars.

It looks like somebody took an engraver to your head man, thats horrible! Sorry to hear about it too, I hate it for you man. I have a buddy that has an a** load of SR parts or atleast he did. Let me know if you need anything and Ill see what I can do. He does have a complete red top swap with Crower valve kit, I think HKS step 3 cams, HKS fuel rail and RC550's with a Greddy oil pan and Greddy oil filter relocation kit. Sling me a wish list and Ill see what I can do

I need to retract my dibs on the SR T25. I don't think I'm going to have much need for it anymore. Thanks
