Freak ...i thought it was a interesting site thanks...i was happy to see my car pulled the fastest times stock...hehe...although i remember timing my 0-60 in 7.2 when it was stock..the site said 7.9...(i guess now i am supposed to dog on it and not realize there can be a infinate number of factors that affect those times.)
I raced an S2000 at a stoplight and pulled on him up til 3rd gear. After that he just gave up. I dont understand what it is with those stupid hondaboys. By the time he's "hit vtec" i'm already starting another gear. Okay boys...... torque wins, horsepower sells cars. If the S2000 hits 0-60 in less than 6 seconds, they gotta be turbo'ed at least! From what i've experienced, My 91 240sx outperforms an S2000 not only in speed, but also in handling! $5000 well spent. Their car costs 30 thousand! what a joke!

you'll beat an S2000 in the handling department? Maybe with plenty of mods you will, but stock for stock, the s2000 will eat your food! And modified s2, start dreaming again.......

7 lb ft less of torque is sooooo much less....W/ a race car driver behind the wheel i forget who exactly but i saw it somewhere 0-60 4.9 seconds, and .9g on the skidpad. I have seen these cars at Autox's they are pretty good, get them in v tec and they are incredible....maybe the guy wasn't racing....

And VTEC can't even compare to turbo, and why doesn't honda over rate their torque specs, like they do their HP?

A stock 240 Dual cam does 1/4 mile in the upper 15s with a good driver. s2k does it in low 14s with a good driver. Add 1/2 a second to each time (due to driver error) and you still have an a$$ raping.
Stock for stock they will own you. If you had a pretty seriously modded 240 (i.e. I/H/E, cams, ign, clutch, flywheel, ECU) then maybe it might be a fair race. Figure an added 30HP/30 ft. lbs. to the wheels for all that, and that should bring you to high 14s. Maybe.
An SR20, CA18 or a KA-T is a completely different story . . .

I believe the beating a S2000 part in a drag race, I don't know about the handleing though. At LACR, i've seen many S200s race. Believe it or not, all in the 17s. Run after run, not just a fluke. I can't explain it, but i'm telling you it was 17s. Last week a guy with intake and exhaust on his was doing high 15s. Fastest i've seen, but there were a few 240s with stock SRs running 14s.. so there ya go.. Maybe they just don't know how to drive em, but from what I can see S2000=slow
