people are lying to themselves/others. it is IMPOSSIBLE for these setups to defy physics.

I'm using an older blitz dd, and I don't recirc, and mine stalls, i've just gotten used to it and hit the gas around 1krpm so it doesn't die, or at the track if i spin out or something just hold the gas. lol

Yep, yep, its always fun trying to feather the gas at about 1k rpm to prevent stalling while you are coming to a stop. After a while I feel like you get pretty good at it tho, and when you let a friend drive your car and they stall it a few times you can laugh and be like, "dude, quit stallin like a rookie" before telling him what the actual problem is. Anyways, thats all fixed now thanks to a new standalone ecu and a good ol' tune, and boy is it a whole lot nicer not having to constantly keep your car alive and instead relying on those nifty computers to do the job for you.

Am I seriously the only one here that never had his car even remotly try and stall out while running a maf with an open atmosphere bov?

I ditched my hks for a synapse and two things happen... no stalling and no surging.

I think that there is an echo in here.

What did you forget that you used the first serious business pic you posted in this thread already?

I've never driven it and stalled in between shifts, but I'll get a little bit of surge under light driving.

never stalled mine when I ran open atomsphere. It's re-circed now. I have a 3 yr old HKS SSQV, I get a bit of surging under light load shifting. I will get the Synapse if I need another BOV anytime soon.

I run an oldschool HKS Sqv with an safc 2 to tune out decel fuel.I have never come close to stalling when the rpm's come down. And yes, the bov only 'blows off' at 0-5 or more boost. Otherwise its just wastegate flutter/possible light surge but i dont think its a problem. Sounds normal.

I get light backfiring sometimes right when I close the throttle coming off of boost, but the car has to be warm. If i'm beating on it and the turbine is hot, then 2nd to 3rd shifts give me light fireballs. It's fun I don't notice much reduced power from the slight richness.
