Looking good. It's better to bundle the wires with small zipties every 6 inches or something. It's a lot easier to unwrap if you need to change something. Electrical tape makes the wires a sticky nasty mess after a while.

ok since no one is posting anything im gonna whore. heres a few pix of one of my almost weekly trips to slidewayz.

i drove in thinking "wtf kinda twilightzone sht did i just drive into" easy to lose my car in a lot like thisi dont remember y ed was trying to get into his back seat but i know it was funny as hell.

and now for some updates... starting w/ the ugly stuff. i didnt want to show this but here we go. when i decided to "slam" my car things didnt go all that smooth. the lower perch or lockin perch on the coilovers was pretty much seized. i soaked it in pb blaster and even used a pipe on the perch tool to try and break it loose and only managed to mangle the tool itself. so... i had to resort to the big hammer. once all was said and done... i covered it all in antiseize.we finally got them all adjusted and i went to put my wheels back on and when tightening them on i got to thinking... hm, y are these going on so hard? further inspection revealed:thats the wheel rubbin on the perch. i did eventually clear the coilover w/ a 3mm spacer but i dont think a 3mm will clear the tires once i go w/ 245s. i tried 6mm and it seems like itll work. either way, the pos tires i have on those are so out of balance that i opted to be safe and leave my oz/kdw combo in the front. funny enough they cleared perfect w/o spacers.

but i decided that i wanted flushness so i ordered these babies from pbm and im all kinds of happy w/ service and quality and all that good stuff.one set of 15mm and one set of 20mmu can barely see it here but the tire is perfect w/ the fender... u can even see the lil hairs on the tire sticking out. (specs: OZ superleggera 17x7+38 20mm pbm spacer 215/45/17 bfg kdw)and now she sits like this... itll last about a week or two more lol a.d.d. (rear specs: 5Zigen proracer ZR+520 17x9+27 225/50/17 free pos bald tires)then i got rid of my primered pignose fender for a non matching chuki fender. which is funny cuz we realized that looking at it from the perfect angle it matched the hood, and just the hood lol

and now some pix from this weekends work at marcs house. transmission swap w00tmarc's vert, marc's old sr'ed hatch (now luis's hatch), luis's sr'ed blue hatch, and my red hatchand quite possibly the most important tool laying around my garage:

marc's car is now rockin miro's old trans so a special thanks goes to miro for keepin it in one piece lol. ive been meaning to shoot by the garage dude but ive been so busy/lazy that i havent even taken the time to post till now. sam ive been thinking about what i could abuse ur lift for and all i can think of is changing my wheels which ive pretty much gotten used to pit crewing it w/ hand tools. thats unless u want to fix whats left of my exhaust leak .-) ur car has me tempted to boost but if everything goes good in court next week im gonna get crackin on the coupe.

also is anyone autocrossing this season? ive been trying to get out there but im waiting on my boy who's hooking it up w/ a helmet. i know scca is not running this weekend at etown but msne is having their first event of the season sunday in somerset. im gonna try to make it out there.and it seems that both scca and msne are trying to have events on the road course at etown. scca being first in like 3 weeks or so. might not be the greatest track out there but that thing was deff fun and i recommend anyone that gets a chance to run on the road course.

my lil ol ka got up to 90mph on the straight before i got scared and slowed for the turn. ok i lied... i got scared when the car started bouncing and shakin at like 70mph .-x and of course... when the g35 hit the wall inches infront of me.

and just cuz im whoring out one last one

keep the thread alive!
