the problem is there is no spark, no injector pulse, fuel pump wont prime unless jumped. :wtf2:
tested coil (is working)
new ecu from running car
new distributor
new plugs and wires
added extra grounds
all relays and fuses checked/replaced as required.
the body harness was wired color to color and soldered and shrink wrapped as per swap guide provided by nico.
noid lights verified no injector pulse.
everything is plugged in.
car turns over fine.

the car was originally a ka24e (manual trans), engine was pulled for a swap (ran before I pulled it) and is now swapped with a ka24de (manual trans) from a 180sx that had it swapped into it after the sr s*** the bed. the ka24de ran perfect before it was pulled. is there anything stupid I could have missed or is there something that could be causing a no start condition with these symptoms.

if anyone helps find the cause of this headache I will etransfer you 25$ for your time and help.

Did you cut your harness inside or ouside of the car? I ask because I believe there are some small bits in the harness near the eccu relay, one of which is a diode that I don't think you would want to bypass. So, if you cut right off the back of the ECU plug, you may have removed something. You Could check the ECCS relay, kind of up and behind the ecu. That area is also where the diode is that I refer to. I think the ECCS relay can be swapped out with other relays you find under the hood, like the headlights or fan relays. Also, sometimes people add extra grounds where there shouldn't be a ground. I don't know how, why or where they do these wrong ground wires, but it does happen.

Sounds like you aren't entering "run", or "on" mode for whatever reason.
Questionable wiring is probably the cause. Another source could be the ignition switch.

I have a security system that has been installed the the 240 for the past couple years ... could that cause a issue ? the car worked perfectly fine before and I did go thru my wiring and everything 100% has a solid connection ... I have no idea

Not EGI, ECCS in the cab, behind the ECU in the frame behind the door hinges. Well, that is where it is in my dohc '94 S14...

After my posting, I was driving home and thought maybe your ignition switch. I see that has been suggested.

Yes, an aftermarket alarm system can do things like this. I would get an FSM for your chassis and the other for your engine. I would remove the alarm system and start into getting the engine to work with the chassis. Then, if I was still up to it, I would work on getting the alarm back in.

Hey, check out theses two articles... I"m only thinking ECCS because of your fuel pump not coming on, but I could be going down the wrong path and don't want to mislead you. Also, I'm not exactly clear on which chassis has which engine has which wiring harness stuff in your car. So I don't know where to look for what. Can you explain what is in the car now, not what was? Sorry if I missed it.
