Guyz,
I have just completed Installing the Pioneer 3300bt. Everything was working fine and i could play it. I've also installed a back camera which was also working fine. Suddenly no power! I checked the fuses(no 35 in main fuse box and no 20 beside steering). They are OK. Cant figure out what went wrong. Every other electrical is working fine. btw I checked the fuse of pioneer which is also fine and i swaped it with original OEM audio and that is also not getting any power.

Any words of wisdom?

Sounds like a connection issues. Check your grounding.

How did you connect the wires? Did you solider?
Did you connect the antenna wire too?

CHECK THE CONNECTIONS. take the main plug out of the unit, and stick a grounded tester into the positive terminals to see if its getting power - odds are its not getting power from either of the connections. i hope you used a no splice wiring harness.
if you did splice - i hope you at least soldered the connections or pig tied them tightly, and then wrapped them with electrical tape. i hope you didnt use pig tail twists, nor simple crimps.

Guys thank for your words. It was a grounding issue. Initially i used the ground wire of the harness. It worked for sometime. Now i have bolted the ground to chassis and things are fine.

BTW as for original radio the ground been used by the top right screw. If you didn't put the screw in then radio gets no ground.

Thanks Leo for the info. Now I understand how it was grounded at the first place.

Not sure about Canadian model but in US they're Blaupunkt. The size gotta be the same front 6x9" rear 6.5" Here's some threads with speakers pictures for you that you can find in FAQ:
