No more super size fries

anyone remember the bucket of fries mcdonalds sold a couple years ago? it was like $3 and looked like it was a supersize cup full of fries.

i always go to wendy's and get a jr bacon cheeseburger (or 2), large fry and large drink

I 'heard' what they are doing in place, is allowing you to do something like "would you llike an additional large order of fries for just $1"...so basically still giving you the same amount, or more fries, for the same price.....

I agree, Carl's Jr. is the greatest fast food joint in the world. Sloppy, huge burgers, fresh veggies, extra toppings, loads of salt on the fries, free ranch dressing to dip everything in.... WA-HOOO!

Has anyone ever read Fast Food Nation? Very interesting book. Talks about corrpution in the fast food industry... and not suprisingly, McDonald's holds the soptlight for most of the bashing. Carl's Jr: FFN talks about that place a lot. Neat story about the guy who started it, too. A very honest hard worker. I'm glad that place is still popular.

I don't care for McDonald's. I remember when I still lived in TN and for breakfast I would order plain biscuit with some jelly, that biscuit was oily. I just don't care for the food b/c it very greasy on somethings.

My friend that works at McDonalds says that theyre stoppin the supersize thing for 3 reasons1) Losin $ cuz ppl arent supersizin nemore and its costin them $ to keep everythin in stock2) Pressure from gov't w/ whole obesity thing3) A special is comin out about a guy who did a report on mickies and bashin them. He ate a supersized meal everyday for 30 days and needless to say he got messed up.....its stupid i kno.
