It says version 150, last update in 2017. When I go to software update, there is a small button to push for Check for Update. It flashes white then back to normal, and no indication that anything is being checked or downloaded.

I park in a public garage with no WiFi, so I have to drive is close to a WiFi and manually check.

2018 Rogue SV.

Welcome to NICO! Just so you know, we have an incredible SEARCH feature on this forum. Keyword: firmware

In answer to your questions, take a moment to read through this thread:

That thread is about firmware for navigation/maps, which I do not have. The closest relevant thread I found was this:

post6793867.html?hilit=rogue%20software ... e#p6793867

However, there folks are talking about software 0154, which downloads but then doesn't install. My problem is that the button is non-responsive. Nothing seems to happen.

Okay. And when you contacted the dealership, what did they say?

They said call NissanConnect, which I did yesterday. Apparently I don’t have “NissanConnect”. So they said take it to the dealer for a radio reset of some sort.

NissanConnect is only on the SL trims apparently, that's what I found out. From what your dealer said to call "NissanConnect" they might have thought you had an SL. Either way, I wouldn't even bother to update the navigation maps at all, since your 2018 Rogue has Android Auto and Carplay, which means you can use Waze and Google Maps.
