The FJ is a formidable engine and had its moment, but it was an incredibly brief one.

The S was similarly potent and a little longer used, but still too rare.

The A was a tough little engine, but a stolen design.

The KA and CA are also rans.

The contenders for fame are the L and the RB with the little SR taking up the rear.

Now as you watch this L lay down 400+hp through carburetors realize that design is over 40 years old and the block and head over 30 years old. When I see a 30 year old SR still kicking a** in 2020 we can talk. ;)

I'm confident we will hear of 30 yr old SR's in 2020, as I don't see young people drifting hybrids or electrics. And I'm sure Vin Diesel will be using a cane while starring in FNF 12.

I gotta agree with TMS on this one. The L is a bad bad b****, and a total game changer. It put Nissan/Datsun on the map.

Also, Yoda Vin Diesel is hilarious.

Second for both. Sometimes TMS humor amazes me. :lolling:

I like the S-20 and the L - series. But seems L-series were far more common.

However, since Prince reversed engineered mercedes engines generally all the L-6's have been very good.

LET THAT BE A WARNING LADIES. Nala no hablo sarcasm so when he says "can I rub my penor on you?" Do not sarcastically say "yeah sure." You will be grossed out, he will be smacked, and we will have a new thread titled "Girls can't make up their minds!." :chuckle:
