Yeah, NSX bodywork is outrageously expensive. Fixing other things on them, unless you have serious engine failure, is hella cheap (compared to the other cars on that list).

I'll have to talk to a Viper Owner, if I can find one. Only beef with the GT-R is that you can't really get a loan for one, and it's a pain to insure.

I can easily get a low rate loan on a $30k '91 NSX from my credit union, and when I called Liberty Mutual to see about insurance, a '91 NSX costs only EIGHT DOLLARS MORE a year to insure than my '98 S14. WACKY!

yeah my friend works at nationwide and he was looking up insurance rates for all these cars we wanted, and we discovered that the NSX has shockingly low insurance. I think its because there are so few out there, and so few crashed. Tend to be a gentlemen's car of some sort.

Yeah, unlike Evos, RX-7s, Supras, etc.., which some kids can actually afford (and thus crash), very few young people own NSXs because of the $90,000 initial price tag, so they get crashed less.

Although, if you go on cardomain, there was some little bastard who had an NSX for a MONTH before he totaled it. He was 16, I want to leap through the monitor and strangle him.

If I ever think that I can afford to have one, I'll likely do it. It's the perfect everyday supercar. Great gas mileage, reliable as a tank, relatively cheap to fix, great performance (especially for the $30k used price tag), and in my opinion it is one of the most beautiful cars ever built (can ya tell I have a soft spot for the things?)

My friend has a 91 or 92 NSX he got for $13,900 (off Ebay I think). It needed some body work, and the paint job is horrific (you can see where the paint dripped on the driver side door, as if someone held the paintgun in one spot for 30 seconds) But other than that, he says it's great!
