hello all i took my car in for a 4 wheel alignment first they kept it overnight it was only sopposed to take one hour. Said it had some wierd wobble and was not safe to drive now this morning they are stating that the car suspension in fine but the car is running like crap needs a tune up oil change that sort of thing? I was like what? no thanks I just changed the oil put in in spark pulgs about 15000km ago and replaced the air cleaner with the k&n one. Then he suggested a fuel filter again i just did it finally The service mentioned a 3m injector clean for $149.00 what do you guys think?

your car probably doesnt need all of that....its called upselling, everybody tries to do that at shops.

Of course things will be found that it "needs" as no car is perfect. Just get your alignment and roll.

I would just like to say that i did decide to go with the 3m injector clean and the car does seem a bit more responsive. Turns out nissan were not trying to upsell me at all but had mechanic there with a same year 300zx and he was really into it. Whated to do the best job possible guess his boss caught him doing a bunch of stuff with a stethoscope instead of working on the other cars. He really tweeked it out nice for me sometimes i cannot believe how lucky i guy can get.

Guess i should expect it the 32Z Fairladyz 300zx is an awsome car and demands respect from eveyone that encounter it ever a authorized Nissan mechanic. Except my one buddy who thinks it looks like a ford probe heeheehee there are really two types of people in this world those who love and respect thier car and those consider them transportation.

44K is probably the best fuel system cleaner that I use. I've only been able to find it at Nissan dealerships. Sells for about $20 but it's really good stuff. My 2nd choice is SeaFoam (cheap, around $5 or so)

I agree about the BG products being the best out there, even though I work at a dealership I think that they are top notch compaired to what else is out there.
