Thanks, Elton. Great participation by Rogue owners, but more would be even better. Especially need 2009s and (once they arrive) 2010s.

We have updated results for the Rogue to include owner experiences through June 2009. In terms of successful repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2009: 18, but small sample size

2008: 37

Both are better than average

A big thank you, once again, to AZhitman, the forum, and everyone who has been helping. We'll have further updates in November and February. With more participants, we could provide more precise information and cover all model years. Especially need more 2009s and (when they're avaiable) 2010s.

Updated results again next month.

We're going to start providing new stats for the odds of requiring no repairs and the odds of getting a lemon. These require larger sample sizes, so additional participants would be helpful.

We have updated results for the Rogue to include owner experiences through September 30, 2009. In terms of successful repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2009: 10

2008: 37

Both are better than average

We've also introduced two new statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds," to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop.

In the case of the 2008 Rogue, the percentage with no repairs is about 78, and the percentage of lemons is 3.

A big thank you to AZhitman, the forum, and everyone who has been helping. We'll have further updates in February and May. With more participants, we could provide more precise information and cover all model years. Especially need more 2009s and (when they're avaiable) 2010s.

Recently enhanced the related repair history survey so that it can (optionally) be used as a personal car maintenance record.

As always, more participants would be helpful. Updated Car Reliability Survey results in May.

2010: 27, small sample size

In a couple of weeks we'll start previewing the next set of results to participants. The preview results are actually updated as responses come in--for me it's like watching the results of a presidential election, only four times a year.
