The minivans of today (and always) have tall, stubby noses that are inherently inelegant, packaged that way as a compromise to serve a utilitarian purpose. There's certain design cues that mimic the human face, animals, or other analogues in nature that cause them to be pleasurable to the eye. So while design is open to interpretation, Its not really subjective.
I think there's a reason why I no longer go to Nissan or Infiniti's web sites to price/configure my dream cars anymore (other than 370Z). They lost me at some point and if I could afford it, I'd have a newer Audi.
I think the big grille is the most likely thing to see production since it follows current trends.
